Who do you think has not had enough recognition and spotlight character and toywise?

Personally, I think that Chop Shop and the rest of the G1 insecticons got cheated. They're sorta shoved into the pit of obscurity while Bombshell, Kickback, and Shrapnel are the only ones who people would recognize.

    We need Generations Chop Shop!

Trailbreaker. Trailbreaker (G1 - Transformers Wiki) Read the "Other Attempts" section. Also, his fully personality has yet to be explored with his inferiority complex but still a prankster.

At least they got toys.... which is more than you can say for about 1/3 the cast of Animated. :p

(Meanwhile, cruddier shows like the AEC trilogy got toys for characters that never even appeared on screen. Sigh.)

That's because those "deluxe Insecticons" were produced solely to add more toys to the 1985 toy line up. And the molds were owned by another company so they weren't featured on the cartoon.

Personally, I think the entire Beast Machines cast was largely shafted on their toys, and in recent the entire Beast era has been unfairly forgotten in terms of throwback toys.

Beast Wars Blackarachnia... She seriously needs a Generations figure.

    Scrounge.

Cmon Hasbro, you gave us Straxus! You've shown you're ok with doing Transformer figures out of obscure 80's comics characters, now just do Scrounge!

Indeed, and yet on the other hand, here at least it's making a return in popularity.

The Beast Machine toys were cool, but poor representations of the characters I'd love to see them redone, but properly, not like Titainium Cheetor.

There is a list several miles long of characters that never got a toy.

GreenCream you can Blame Bandai for that as they owned the molds and Hasbro/Takara wasn't about to promote them int he show because of that. also see Roadbuster and Whirl and to a lesser degree Skyfire/Jetfire.

I'd love to see a leader sized UPDATED homage figure based off G-2 comic Jhiaxus. as he clearly was the main villian for a year in the G-2 Comic.

Any character in armada. I alway loved the character designs in the showand even the personalities of most but the toys SUCKED. I collecting to some degree through RID since g1 but armada and the subsequent series being energon and cybetron turned me off to the toys due to poor design and to many gimmicks.

Ultra Magnus has it worse. He only gets half of his toy released, and when somebody makes the other half, it's for a collector's price.

I have to say Springer. The original g1 version did not do the toon character justice. The only other versions I've seen is a repaint (non triple changer) and a independently produced figure that is very nice but far beyond y budget. Hasbro/Takara remade Astrotrain so why not Springer?

    Trailbreaker (practically forgotten since G1)
    Brawn (semi-forgotten until recently)
white Prime repaints of Ultra Magnus and red Bumblebee repaints of Cliffjumper(I still buy them and don't mind them at all...but oh my, it's become commonplace)
    Movieverse Megatron
Beast Machines (at least in terms of approximating scale as best as they could)
Animated characters with no toys (outside factors came into play, but it's startling how many toys of in-show and non-show characters made it into every other cartoon series' toy line compared to Animated)
Pre-Transmetal Beast Wars Blackarachnia (oh dear)
    Reflector (another forgotten G1 character...though he's actually scheduled for a Classics-style toy)
Japanese G1 characters (good luck getting reissues or Classics updates of many of them)
Animated Voyager Thundercracker (if he never gets released after all, anyways...not even Takara can do it?)

Despite all complains about Ultra Magnus being a white repaint of Optimus Prime, every Ultra Magnus that appeared in a mainstream anime / cartoon has a proper toy of itself made. Its only the "for nostalgic sake" toys that got shafted.

Beast Wars figures. For such a popular series (arguably the best) it hasn't gotten too much attention. We had the 10th anniversary figures and two remakes (Cheetor and Dinobot), but that's it. There is so much potential for an updated homeage in the Beast Wars era. Rattrap anyone?
