    These days I would expect writers to be able to deal with TL stories far better. They don't even have to have shown them right away, just talked about them and eluded to them until a finale or special.
    I hope the Timelords are revived, I really do.

    Plus, what about those sealed in the tomb of Rassilon (in 'the five doctors')? They are immortal. All of them, including Barussa and Rassilon could easily build a new empire somewhere (or something to that effect).
    There are so many possibilites. So many.
    The Monk appearing would be just the same tyrade as the Master's reappearance (who was portrayed terribly by Simm). "Oh, but we are the last, lets work together..." then the Monk does something evil and stupid and the doctor ends up killing him accidentally or he is killed by UNIT and its all over. Sorry, a tad off topic.

    Sideways had potential for longevity. I really liked him. I never liked Barricade and thought we would get a new Decepticon car - alas, no.
    I kind of wish ravage was left alive, but maybe Soundwave breeds Cybertronian fauna? Another Ravage may well be possible.
