i cant help but notice, am i the only one who thinks rampage's jackhammer mode is awesome?  
and i love breakaway's bio. i knew he wasnt the quirky weirdo everyone thought he was  and sidewase and sideswipe sould awesome as well

Nah. My theory is that they're saving Barricade for the third movie for a big showdown between him and Bumblebee unless they kill him off in retcon.

 

face it, the sideways / barricade argument is over. the designers got lazy. nuff said.

 

Did they get lazy, or did they pull something from Animated? Weren't Bumblebee and Wasp built off the same protoform mold or something on Cybertron?

Maybe they came from the same type of Protoform.

Either way, they arent as hard to tell apart as people make them out to be.

 

2 or more robots have similar appearance...it happens in G1, classic line, and now in the movie universe.. from g1: ironhide-ratchet, optimus-ultra magnus, prowl-bluestreak, starscream-thundercracker-skywarp, bumblebee-cliffjumper. Maybe Sideways is Barricade's twin, and a different vehicle mode with similar robot mode is the best way to translate that twin-thing for the movie... if they just make them the same vehicle with different colors, that's lazy!

 

You know these Bio's make the Decepticon Constructicon's teammates and hangers on seems quite sympathetic - and makes them seem like the Autobots are trying to ethnically clense them or something.

Individual parts of Devastator not transformable

That was officially confirmed by Hasbro at Toy Fair over a month ago.

 

With his pretty detailed bio, will this mean Breakaway is actually in the movie? I wouldn't mind it, even if it's a short cameo. Me want Springer!

 

The Barricade = Sideways idiots are still going to be saying it even after the movie comes out..."But, but, but, you never see them in the same frame at the same time, so it's STILL possible..."

 

Every toy gets a bio like that. Landmine, Stockade, Arcee, Wreckage, Incinerator, etc. from the first movie line all had bios equally detailed as Breakaway's.

 

Bay has nothing to do with the toy side of the franchise, and I seriously doubt Hasbro would spend money and resources to print up "false" packaging just for Bay's shite campaign.

If there is any connection story-wise between Barricade and Sideways beyond the similar robot modes, you'd think Hasbro would have mentioned it in Sideways' bio.

 

If Breakaway is not in the movie, then he would be the only ROTF Deluxe figure (of the ones that have been announced so far) that isn't. Seems odd to have an early release figure not be in it. I guess you could argue that preview Deluxe Soundwave might not exactly be in the movie, but we are all pretty damn sure that Soundwave will show up in at least some form.

I have a feeling Breakaway will show up at some point. Probably get killed right away, but I bet he makes it.
