Let's see - this might be G2 Prime and a bunch of Christmas presents for me. Nautica for my goddaughter. Quickswitch for my godson. Fastlane for my cousin Josh. And I guess I'll keep the Rodnoggin.

 

Excited for all of them.

 

Definitely keeping Nautica and Fastlane, definitely selling Laser Prime and Quickswitch. Undecided about Rodimus Prime.

 

Fastlane is the only one I want out of this whole set...waiting to see if we get a Takara Fastlane / Cloudraker set

 

I really want Nautica, and it'd be the first of that mold for me. I think I'd want Rodimus Prime if his colors match Hot Rod's. Not super interested in the rest, so I'll have to pick these up from someone down the road.

 

If I were to buy it (and I won't), I'd be cool with keeping everything...although Quickswitch would be the first to get the boot. I would prefer Nautica and Fastlane to have individual releases.

Fastlane really seems like the only thing I'd go for, but I'm not so invested in the Clones that I'd buy a set and sell 80% of it just to have one figure from it. I want to like Nautica, because the world needs more fembots, but it just seems like a lazy remold. I can't read the mold as Nautica; it looks too much like Purple Blurr with VTOL Fans for me to get worked up about it.

 

Originally when I heard this rumor I was only into Nautica and Tidal Wave, so I was disappointed to hear they were in separate boxes. Then I really didn't like Broadside, so I figured Nautica was my go to. But having seen her I don't really think I need the set.

I like Rodimus a bunch, despite me not having a red Titans Return figure to stick him on.

 

Quickswitch is the only that's a definite sell. The rest I would keep or consider keeping.

Quickswitch. near the end of childhood he was one of the last major TF i got and he was sixshots son. That alone was an interesting story idea to me. still is.

 

Original plans were to keep Nautica and Fastlane...BUT... I've been thinking of getting a small collection of Autobot Leaders as Titanmasters started...no guarantees enough would get released...BUT...it'd be cool...

This set is kinda the biggest disappointment of toy fair for me. I really only want Fastlane, and that's only in the hopes of us getting a Cloudraker eventually. The biggest appeal of Laser Prime for me is the burning forest sticker, and I can ignore the bullshit "plane" mode, but I don't really care for Laser Prime that much. Don't care about Titanmaster Rodimus Prime. The solo TMs are only good to me if they have repaint potential or work well with an "intended" body. I'd have preferred Quickswitch to have shared a new mold with Sixknight, and get Greatshot here. Nautica, who was one of the figures I was looking forward to the most, is a huge disappointment. She really deserves better than a repainted Blurr with a new face and fans. I don't feel like paying for a marked up Leader, Voyager, and Deluxe class TF I don't want just to get a Scout class dude. Pass and wait for e(vil)bay.

Wonder how many people actually don't want Fastlane and would sell him for a reasonable price.

 

You do realize according to the msrp nothing is marked up, the figures are the same as retail if you break the cost per figure down, maybe a little less

Nautica and Fastlane for sure. I doubt I'd go through the hassle of jurt trying to sell off Rodimus' head. We'll see about Laser Prime and Quickswitch, I may like them when I get them in hand.

 

They're not? I didn't hear anything about the prices being revealed. I just guessed they would be because that's how most of the platinum sets are. But then the CW boxsets aren't marked up, so there is that.

Still doesn't make me want the other four figures.

 

Box sets are msrp $100, figure $5 for a titan master, $10 for the clone, $15-$20 for a deluxe, $25 for a voyager and $40 for a leader, that totals out to $95-$100, so at least going by msrp there is absolutely no markup
