During my first viewing of ROTF, I remember clearly hearing Starscream yell "Ow, my arm!" during the forset fight, an obvious refernce to his 1986 line "Ow, my foot!" However upon more recent viewings I have only heard an incoherent scream yelled at that moment in time. Has anyone else noticed this or any other changes & do they piss you off?

I never heard it till my third viewing of the film. But yes, he definitely says "argh, my arm!"

Did you see it at the same theater? If not, it may have just been a difference in sound quality.

Was it an obvious reference? He did have his arm ripped off by Prime...must have hurt. The 1986 quote plays on Starscream's stupidity whereas in ROTF he's getting his ass beat down by Prime. Quite a disconnect between their uses.

Though I did enjoy Prime's taunts which were a near perfect recreation of his taunts to Megatron in MTMTE.

Yes, I saw it in the same cinema 3 times. Just asking if anyone else didn't hear it on a second, third or maybe 4th showing.

I've seen it a couple times and I heard the line clearly every time. I went to the same theater so, maybe that's why there wasn't a difference.

Definitely the audio system. The first time, in IMAX, I did not hear "MY ARM!" but the second time I did. However, I did hear "Come here boy" the first time, but only "Boooy..." the second time.

The "ow, my arm!" line sounds about as close to original-cartoon Starscream as you can get (the voice, I mean).

I still didn't hear it, in fact, that line wasn't even subtitled.

DVD is also missing first line of professor speech, and sound when Sam's awakens after his near-death experience (the same sound was heard when his vision starts and ends, but on DVD its only when it starts). On the other hand - there is line added during twins dialogue in Shangai and probably Mikaela's F-word at the end, but I'm not sure about it.

Megan's F word was absolutely in the theatrical release. The Twins new dialogue line was added for DVD.

During the Egypt battle, right before Bonecrusher kills the Arcee sisters. Sam meets up with Ironhide's group. Now in the theater I distinctly remember him yelling out for Arcee, hence why one of them roll up to Sam. Now on the DVD, Sam is suddenly yelling out for Ironhide. Funny part is, even though they edited in Sam yelling "Ironhide!!" his mouth is still clearly mouthing "Arcee".

I didn't hear it the very first time at midnight, but at the second time I saw it I heard it. I even heard it before the second time on bootleg vids on YouTube.

When does Bonecrusher kill the Arcee sisters? I SWEAR only one of them gets shot!

He shoots flareup in the face and arcee through the chest. Chromia's fate is still unknown since you don't see her get whacked. But she isn't escaping with ironhide from the air strike so I suppose her fate is sealed.

No, every time I watch it I hear it. Took a little while to actually notice it though.

Having watched some movies repeatedly, sometimes with captions on and some not, certain throwaway lines or lines overlapped with someone else's won't be on the titles.

In other words, I've clearly heard stuff in films that wasn't bothered to be subtitled.
