with Sideburn coming out, do you think FP will release a blue armor? id love them forever if they did lol.

Could care less for a BIS repaint, but a blue one for Side Burn would be a must have.

 

I really, really want a blue repaint for the Club Sideburn with a new faceplate and/or head. It seems like a missed opportunity if they don't do one.

I hope so, and I am really hoping for one for the green/blue clear Rodimus from the ehobby recolor. They keep putting them out, and I will keep buying them. I would take a BiS one as well to keep one version in RV mode.

 

It really wouldn't make any sense for the character, but it would look cool.

The bulk of the work has been done, doing a blue run would be like an overnight after hours production run that practically prints money for FP.

 

i'd say it'd be more likely to be made for this because they also have this verision of blue hot rod out too. thus double the chances for people to buy one.

 

if you watched Vang's video on crystal protector, there was an statement about the commander armor being done or ciao.

this of course is my own interpretation so don't get all over me if you disagree...lol

 

commander =/= protector.

 

I would have said "sort of unlikely" before they released the crystal armor. Now, I'd say there's a pretty good chance.

And this isn't Commander armor, it's Protector armor.

 

yea, watching it again I realized that the commander had a hole blown through his chest and that was the whole ciao thing.

 

If they don't make it, I will need to buy another crystal armor and paint it clear blue, and another protector for blue sideburn,.

 

Well, I now say, they will make it because I did not get sideburn and thats how its been for every armor:

sold UM, re-bought for armor, sold both UM and armor, bought version two w/ missiles after the markups.

owned many nemesis primes, never bought armor, settled for KO

owned classics prime and henkei, had no idea about DIA, bought on clearance from BBTS

sold classic roddy, bought protector armor, paid markup for another roddy

passed on sons of cybertron, disregarded crystal protector, and now just bought soc off of toy arena and bbts'd the crystal.

So yeah, its a sure thing the more I think about it. I don't own sideburn and this was going to be my first year joining the club (just for him).

 

With all the repaints they had for City Commander I would be disappointed if FP didn't jump on it.

 

I agree that it seems likely. They'd be crazy not to exploit that mold for more sales. I think a blue repaint would actually do better than the clear red one ultimately will.

 

what are you on about? I couldn't care at all for the BIS one, he's repaint fodder on most levels.

A clear blue one would work well for sideburn as well as the Ehobby one.

 

i hope so, but i want a clear blue   and i think the chance is 50/50 they will, or they wont
