Okay, here's something I'm noticing. Every wave of the Encore series has at least one G1 version of a movie character in it. Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Jazz, Bumblebee, etc. So what are the chances of seeing a G1 Scorponok. And I don't think the size would be an issue because they're doing Omega Supreme and Sky Lynx.

chance yes, but chances are it looks like they are focusing on year 1 and 2, with the exception of sky lynx.

but i say it's about the same chance, as an encore fort max.

I wouldn't rule it out but notably Omega and Sky Lynx are both former Toybox products that weren't really released in Japan so both those factors (licensing and availability) might be why we got those two larger bots specifically.

Personally I'd rather see Overlord next as we in North America were in the opposite situation.

Normally I'd tell you not a chance in hell. But with a Sky Lynx and Omega Supreme coming up fast... it's a possibility. I just hope they wait a while to release it, I'm borderline having to sell a kidney just to afford Sky Lynx and Omega.

    QFT

I'm just thankful for Animated... not buying any of them (Well... maaaybe Bumblebee) so it'll free up some cash that would normally go to Hasbro.

I don't really see why not. I would love to see all of the big boys released.

Scorponok was cool, but most people would rather have Fort Max, including me. That would make Fort Max more likly from a business perspective.

Yep, KA's purchase increased the chances up to around 70%. I can't wait!

another possible encore is piranacon, as we know this is being reissued to the TF collector club (in exclusive new colours?) so hopefully that pink and turquoise monstrosity will arrive.

If Sky Lynx and Omega Supreme sell well, it seems like a reasonable chance.

Because he's more popular, Tomy's going to reissue the largest TF ever, a very expensive one at that, instead of something almost as popular but smaller and a movie tie-in character like Scorponok...

I can't imagine that Tomy would do a Scorponok very soon, but down the road and after one or two smaller Encores like Jazz, maybe. As mentioned so many times, far weirder things are happening right now.

If what I read on the ehobby website was correct for Sky Lynx, it said that with the merger they found some molds they thought were lost. So who knows. Right now we know what we're getting in the next 6 months. Let's hope the Quality is with these reissues and see where they go from that. Maybe a Shockwave?

I would rather see Overlord to, but I really do like the original Scorponok. Also, I think Toybox was responsible for Shockwave, so might there be a chance for him?

The company that created Shockwave is not Toybox, and thus not owned by Tomy, but very similarly named. ToyCo I think it was.
