I just wanted to ask the fine folks here at TFW2005 if the Rodimus/Cyclonus 2 pack would see retail shelves at all or if it only purchasable at online stores. Thanks a bunch  

 

From what we know, it's definitely getting a retail release, and seems to be a wide release (aka it's not exclusive to just one store).

 

I'm thinking it's this year's equivalent to the Soundwave/Bumblebee NEST two-pack at the end of last year. So it will be everywhere for a Very Long Time Indeed.

 

I think the current speculation is wide release with a possibility of mail away for the redeco of galv.

 

Wide release is not a matter of speculation in any way. BBTS listing this set at $21.99 as well as the fan club store carrying preorders at about the same price establishes this. That there will be ANY sort of mailaway, to say nothing of Galvatron specifically is a deeply speculative issue. From what I saw, the packaging scans don't even hint at a mailaway promotion this time around.

I saw in at least one thread on this were some one mentioned tthe mail away possiblity but it was PURELY speculation. It was mentioned as a way that the redeco of galv could be released. IIRC it was in the thread was about this set being a black friday item. It was purely a fan speculation. Honestly that does not matter to me either way bcaseu the comic is a cool addition. I loved the comic that came with Safeguard but sadly i think that may have been lost when i moved.

 

yeah i loved the safeguard intro comic too, i hope the galvy is a mail away, itd be better than the ravage imo and it would really kick start the mail away ideals back in action. win much?
