Like ive mentioned on some of the other Shockwave threads, i think he looks so badass and i cant wait to see some actual movie footage of him.

I know this is a picture from the game but Bay better have used the same look in the movie or it would be a let down in my book.

I think hes going to have a purple tint to him, just not a deep solid purple like G1.

I think it's safe to say now that that's Shockwave. You can clearly see the hose between his right arm and torso, the finger of his left arm look like the ones on the CGI render plus he has a weapon just like the toy, the ribcage is there, the legs looks similar and the forearm of his lef arm looks like the one from the CGI render.

Also look at his back above his head! Those are the wheels of the tank mode just like the toy!

 

At least, unlike some of the movie Decepticons, we can tell just at a glance who he is.

man that makes shockwave look brutal, i just hope he has a very intelligent sounding voice actor and not something that sounds like a stupid monster.

i love the way he looks but lets face it if you know absolutely nothing about shockwave those pics just make him look like a big robot monster

 

That title works sooo well with that picture...

On a sidenote, I hope this shockwave is closer to Shockwave of the Marvel comics.... =)

 

I love the look, its dark gritty but he does seem to have the simuler tone to megs design a dark grey with a jagged design. If prime owns this shockwave I will be pissed off

 

This is probably as purple as he's gonna get.

Hrmn. The more I look at that render, the less I like the design. It is just TOO organic, even more then Megatron's first design. At least he's instantly recognizable.

 

I'm the opposite, the more I look at it the more I LOVE it!

He reminds me of a giant metalic space skeleton, and in my book that is awesome!

 

That is pants-jizzingly cool. And so obviously Shockwave. I love it. His 'ribs" even kinda look like his old diamond-chest design. (more specifically like the Animated version's)
