it'll be nice watching it in 3D but the only drawback is usually the glasses you get in the DVDs arent the best and usually nothing compared to what you get at the theatres...plus they usually only give you 4x glasses at max in DVDs...something that wont work well in a big crowd.

as for games....if the next Big N system does do 3D too...and they keep the Wii set up...that would be pretty cool...

just saw the clips of games in 3D....is it just me, or is the game without the glasses look kinda crappy....which will make watching other people play will really suck

I don't think anything will come of it. Every now and then there is some new way to do 3D and everyone jumps on the bandwagon but it never catches on.

Ahem (clears throat, well fingers). No, they aren't. Nintendo went with the typical Red/Blue 3D glasses which barely work, and even when they do, you lose most color definition from the game.

Sega on the other hand, opted to go with the flipping LCD glasses, which are used today (upgraded of course) in most 3D theaters. Games like Zaxxon 3D and Missle Defense were in 3D on the Master System (NES' competitor) and when you played those, shit really came out of the screen at you.
