Work-in-progress; part of an ongoing revamp program, for my older models (in anticipation of restarting work on Redemption Episode Two): I think the fists are the only thing from the original model, and they're going to be replaced with new ones too. The legs need beefing up a little (probably with more armour).
You've got some pretty nice texturing there, Draven. I even see that the Autobot faction symbol is a tex this time around too (which I've always liked better than engraved symbols). Looking sharp as always.
Draven, I remember watching one of your episodes like two years ago; did you ever do more than one? I remember thinking how awesome the one I saw was and would love to see more.
You're re-starting Redemption? Excellent! Now if only I could figure out where a copy of that Redemption-verse Nebulan story went... Gary
While the model is great (as all of yours are), what I really dig is the dirty, grimy texture. It compliments the status of the TF's in the Redemption storyline so well. Looking forward to Ep. 2!
I really like the bot mode for your Cerebros. He looks capable of fighting off decepticons, then making them run by linking up with FortMax. So did you remodel him, or just revamp the existing model?
Thanks man. That's actually the look I was aiming for; The full-on Fortress Maximus is just too huge and unwieldy to interact with most of the other Autobots in dialogue scenes (as seen in Episode One), so Cerebros does it instead. He's pretty much a complete remodel; the only untouched components are the hands (and I'm replacing those with the high detail set I built for Starsaber). I used some of the original parts for templates for more highly detailed versions, mainly on the torso, but the rest is totally new. Fort Max's head will fit into a sort of "backpack", which will unfold, with the parts of his face sliding into place for head mode. Fort Max himself is also going to get a total rebuild; this was the second model I ever built on a PC version of Lightwave (the first being Machine Wars Starscream). He's not needed for Episode Two, though, so I can do that at my leisure, but Cerebros is in the first shot, so I do need him
I wonder if Cerebros ever had a vehicle form? Looks kinda Soundwave/Perceptor-ish. His kneekaps COULD be windows of some sort. Yes I know he was always a headmaster, but in the Cartoon he existed before Fort Max. Convienently, he never transformed.
