this looks like a rush job just to cash in. they look too wide, sloppy paint and I dont know about the head.

looks like they attach the same too. but again I prefer MADIENS since I have them.

I really don't care what they're trying to do. They could spend little more time to
paint that thing look nice, but come on. I'm not feeling ANY pressure as far as
that thing looks. In fact I received so many PMs from people that they want my sets,
since that their picture appeared on the news thread. It's really up to you.

Hell, I had no idea of the existence of your kits until this thread. Where to click?

They probably saw how popular and how rare MADEINJAPAN's stuff was and decided to do it themselves.

After a closer look it is DEFINITELY a fast hand-made and hand-painted mock-up and NOT the final production piece. It's just not as refined as their other stuff which was done on the computer. They probably just did it super fast to gauge interest and see if its worth pursing more

The alignment is just way too off and every part is way too crooked for it to be a production piece. Also, the original arms just sort of disappear into the new parts, there's no gap for it to slid into like in MIJ's stuff. It looks like it was made quickly with sculpey/clay:

Can they get the Devs kit out first?

It's great to see 3rd parties taking the initiative to make our old molds better, but can I get my upgrade kit for G1 Devestator first? The release date says Feb 2010, well they only have anothe week or so to make that date.

It might be a rough prototype, but I agree - Maiden's piledrivers are infinitely better looking, and that head is a mess.

not to saound critical or anything i like maidne japan desings but since ill most likely miss them on ebay somehow ill have to settel for crazydev design.

one more thing freanzy uses piledrivers since when i dont know that much about the deceticon twins but i do remeber rumble was the only that used piledrivers in the g1 series not freanzy.

Transformers: The Movie (1986) disagrees with you. Both Rumble and Frenzy use their piledrivers in the film.

And yeah, the Maiden Japan pieces are FAR superior to these.

This is really worth noting. CrazyDev seems to be ahead both in publicity and ease of ordering. That's a pretty big deal, regardless of what people think of the quality.

If Maiden Japan can start working through one of the main online shops, I imagine he'll do pretty well, though.

I will think of getting these once i see the final project if this is just a prototype in progress and the Price.. Maidens are cool, i really like them too and was going to buy a set but they are made of Resin and that isnt the strongest stuff, Id rather have Plastic over Resin. If he starts making them in plastic then ill buy his for sure.

It is funny to hear people choose to buy for the material, not by the design.

I'm curious to see how CrazyDevy's item compare to our fellow TFW2005 MaidenJapan's.
I think the first 'reviews' of CrazyDevy's items are false, as these were quite obvious just mockups.
