O.k, I've just gotten back from Northampton TRU, and I was sifting through their shelves, and amongst the Dark Skorponok's, were about 7-8 CD Red Alert's for £24.99 each.
Unfortunately, Being unaware of such a thing, I couldn't afford it, so left it at the store in favor of 3 LOC's.
Also, they had 20th anniversary Prime's.

Wouldn't surprise me, I got CD Hot Shot and Downshift a coupple of weeks ago. Hasbro UK seem to have gone from 'nothing' to 'tons' within the space of a month.

Wow, they really seem to be rushing through the waves. Hopefully this means we'll stand a chance of getting the classics line before the movie.

CD Red Alert is definately out in the UK. There were 2 sightings about a week ago.

To show how much Hasbro UK has improved, here is the break down of number of toys released in the last 3 years in the UK:

    2004 - 32
    2005 - 30
    2006 - 47 (so far)

I'm currently checking how many were released in 2002 and 2003 for Armada.

    I saw Red alert too

I saw red alert 3 weeks ago in Australia (where I'm from) in a target store at knox shopping centre for $59.95
and again today at Forest hill shopping centre today at K-mart where he was 56.95

Australia always is the last country to get anything!

I'm still waiting for a cybertron soundwave!!

Yeah To release a Toy only a year after i got the same toy on import shows enormous improvement.. still not enough improvment though... theres still the price issue: even with VAT added a $24.99 toy (price based on US RRP) should retail in this country for £16 not £24.99

pfft, look at us, we havent even seen The Dark Crumplezone wave of Voyagers, Wave 2 of the Deluxes, or Even Galvatron,
    *Rant Beginning*
because for some stupid reason they chose to release (out of the two) the one with the inferior paint job. o.k, rant over, I needed to vent

yeah, That suck's majorly, I believe canada gets screwed over in Prices aswell ,but it's just a lazy translation for them,
    To Hasbro,
$1 = £1 exactly, which is really annoying. £49.99 for a toy that should be £26.86, no way am I paying that!
Come on Exact Price's should be given, o.k, rounding the price.
    Should be:

    LOC's: £1.99
    Scouts: £3.99
    Deluxes: £4.99
    Voyagers: £10.99
    Ultra's: £12.99
    Leader's: £20.99
    Supreme's: £26.99

I mean, If these were the prices, I would already own about 4X as much Cybertron stuff as I do now, As it stand's, I can buy like One a Month.
And I would have been able to buy 'CD Alert' on Tuesday, Stupid RRP

FWIW your conversions are a bit off: I think you haven't allowed for VAT.

Frankly though the fact that they overcharge so much means I have less pangs of guilt for buying from Japan or the US and importing: I'd still do it as long as we still have this "wait until its no longer easily available overseas before finding out if its going to be released by Hasbro UK" lottery but the fact I can do it within 5-10% of what I'd pay at retail here just makes it easier.

Hasbro UK were found guilty of price fixing a few years back.

Most companies nowadays make the Dollar price into Euros.
and then convert back to GBP

    EG: $40 = 40 euros = (circa) £25

    But not Hasbro UK $40 = £40 = 60 Euros.

Slow and greedy. Is it any wonder so many of us can't be bothered with them.

The only toys Hasbro UK toys i've bought this year are the Sixliner and Sixwing repaints... and i have at least one of every Cybertron/GF mold.

I haven't bought a Hasbro UK toy in getting on for a year. I refuse to support such rampant price hiking.
