I just got a sword that I don't remember ever getting in the original game. Its called the Crissaegrim. The description says "Countless blades dice enemies". OMG!! Its awesome! One swing is like 5 or 6 swings. I got it in the Inverse Library when I killed a Shmoo. I think you can take out anything with this sword. Took down Frankenstein with only a few blows. Found this on Wikipedia: So I guess it was in the PS1 game. I just never found it. Its not in the strategy guide I bought years ago.
Yeah, it's generally refarded as one of the strongest weapons. The Alucard shield is pretty much # 1 though, cheap as it is. Got 200.6 earlier, tomorrow its time to start on Richter.
Well, that's gone because they wanted to keep it's file size down so not surprisingly the CG cut scenes were axed.
Great sword. I got 2 in my first 5 kills of the enemy. Thinking of powering up the swrod that dropped from the Scarecrows there to.
Fight as many enemies as possible. Preferablly ones that take a few hits to destroy. I am about 1/4 the way through the second castle now. I still need to go back to the first castle and get the 5 or so squares I missed before I finish this one off with Alucard. Then it's on to Richter.
For those that have problem with the 200.6% in the Inverted Castle Water areas, jump up into the water, and shift into Wolf form. The Wolf can swim, so jsut swim and scrap the top and it will finally count. Y button for swimming I think. Also, this is probly the best Caslte Map for the game. http://worldbeyondwalls.free.fr/2006.html Has both Castles, and has it on a grid so you can check by looking, and if you want checking off the rooms. There are also 1890 Rooms for the 200.6%. You can use a Libary Card in the Shaft/Dracula Final Battle room if you wanted it saved as 200.6%.
I can't get the room to open above the area where you fight Richtor. I know its there, but nothing I do seems to open it. Its already open when you switch over to the inverted castle. Any ideas?
As you reach the top of the staircase and go inside of the big banquet hall, turn round and bash the wall above the entrance from the inside.
Woot! I finally got past the clone part last night! I managed to take him out using the Axe, as he would always stay that far away from me, and the axes would just take him out! I also found the merchant and got some upgrades, and now I am grinding for money and experience so I can buy more stuff.
2 Ways. The sercert area at the start wehre you have to go thru as a Wolf and Bat. And a Discuc Lord drops it int eh Catacombs. The Jewel Sword turns enemy drops into Rings.
Yeah, that is a ways from where I am at though. I am just now at the point of finding the merchant in the library. I think I picked up the wolf form, but I don't have the Bat one yet.
I still have this on my PS1, double disc version with the Music CD and Special Art book, still in near mint condition too. I loved this game sooo much, best £20 I ever spent. This along with Vandal Hearts I & II are my favourite PS1 games ever made.
