    Hi all.

I'm about to paint a 24x24 Fresco of Castle Grayskull are my pencils, which just inked.

At first I wasn't going to include the Coat of Arms but changed my mind, I used the original cg door and neca door for reference.

I may still leave it off when I start painting though.

Also, if your interested, my small Fresco is practice for a larger project that you can find here The Fresco Project at Western Kentucky University I'm one of 4 assistants/students.

I will now use a thumbtack to poke holes in the pictures lines, cover in graphite powder, and then paint the numberless connect the dots on wet plaster.

    edit: frame done!!!

finally found a minute, or 45 :p , to do the frame.

thanks guys. i would have liked to spent longer on it, especially fading the black, but i ran out of time. i only spent about 6 hours on it start to finish. painting on wet plaster is tricky. this makes the 4th time i've painted a fresco but each time is as nerve racking as the first.

I plan on filling the gaps of the frame, sanding them down, and then use a wood burner to make it look like stone which I'll follow up with staining green. i think the faux stone frame will look great with it and finish it of nicely.

I knew from the initial drawing this would turn out nice. Greyskull is a great choice for a Fresco as that's how it probably would have been done if the Sorceress herself had commissioned this painting ;)

thanks all for the kind words. i haven't been able to work on the frame yet. i've had to log 80 studio hours and between the 3 hrs of driving to/from class and the 5 new paintings of various sizes, including a 2ft x 4ft, i've had no time, nor want, to do anything to it. i'm so overwhelmed right now with school, work(middle school) about to start back up, working on the house, and a baby on the way i feel like i'm about to explode!
