    Hello,

I've had a few PM request for the Dev Shield that I used for my bash so I decided to cast the thing and make it available to everyone interested.

This Dev Shield has been casted with Alumilite casting resin. It's incredibly hard plastic. With all repaints, I suggest a little cleaning with warm water then primer before painting.

    <-----Payment via PayPal only----->

Each Dev Shield will be 15.00 USD.
Shipping and handling in US/Canada will be 5.00 USD.

*For international orders, please PM me for shipping quote. I will combine shipping on multiple orders.

Please PM me if you are interested.

    Thanks again.
    Bao (YR)

Pickup is an option if you live in Houston. I would love to meet some local Radicons!

Sorry, I don't have a ruler in the house. But I managed to snap a shot of the Dev Shield next to a Sharpie marker. I hope this helps.

the shield is nice but is your dev transformed right? demolisher looks wonky and hightower looks like hes trying to balance ontop of demolisher

    Thanks for the comments.

Yes he's transformed correctly. He's got articulation at the waist and he is standing with his waist slightly turned at a 45 degree so maybe that made him look "wonky"?

Glad you think the shield is nice, thanks again.

    Got My Devy Sheild Today!

Just a quick review of the new Devastator sheild I got from yourreflection today.

To start with it is a very cool looking piece; simple and aggressive. Different from the current chopped and assembled sheilds found on most Devastator reproductions. I can't wait to get it on my Devastator. It measures 2 & 7/8" by 5 & 1/2" and it is about 3/8" wider on each side than HighTower when transformed into his "Devastator" mode. It came molded in an off white resin that had a sheen on the back and was satin on the front. The resin is somewhat flexible but sturdy and was easily sanded.

The sheild is a quality piece, but will need some minor finishing before primer. There were a few pin hole air bubbles that need to be filled here and there, and some of the details need a little cleaning up with an exacto and sandpaper but nothing significant (see before and after photos) .

My only real criticism is that the points at the bottom of the sheild are uneven and look as though the resin didn't make it all the way into this part of the mold. Maybe that is how the original piece is? Either way a few minutes with some fine sand paper makes the two points even.

All in all a very unique, quality piece.

    Overall I'd rate it a 9/10

    Thanks Bao!!

I dont have a camera other than my cell phone, so the above pics are a great representation of the shield. The size is nice and big, exactly what I was preferring to begin with, so Im very happy there. The texture on the front is very nice and the back is smooth, nice and wide open for mounting choices. I did have the same blemishes in mine, just two places on the decepticon symbol have air holes and a place on the left wing in one of the grooves, and the points at the bottom.

Im very happy with this piece. It was well worth the money and is gonna be great for my devastator. Like Turbolove, I too give it a 9. Thanks again man.
