I'm a really big cassette collector, and I'm thinking of selling off my collection. I have a lot of MOSC stuff hrms..i just have ALOT of stuff..some of the rarer things. But I'm having to do some unexpected home improvements :(  and I was thinking of selling off what I have collected so far. But I'm not sure how I should sell them off. I'd like to sell them all together, but I'm not sure if certain stores are better to sell to..or individuals. Any suggestions ?
I wasnt going to list everything, but here is most of it

AFAIK, they aren't many stores where you're going to get a good deal for a whole collection. This is especially true for one like yours which, while I'm sure it was difficult to obtain them, some of those less well-known items will be harder to sell.

If you have the time and energy, collections will sometimes sell on ebay. Someone who would buy it from there will probably be only interested in a few items and sell or trade other individual items. Since you've got so many sealed items, your chances of that working (and you getting above some sort of reserve price that you set) go up.

Other than that, individual sales can work, but it'll also take some time and energy on your part.

Of course, at this point, you've probably gotten multiple PMs asking about various items pictured in your collection.

Put the W casettes on eBay. Selling each of the 4 of them seperately is probably the best way to attact interest from those who might have some of them already, whilst maintaining the interest of those who don't have any.

I would be interested in your Squalktalk, Grandslam, Ratbat, and Reissues Soundblaster, and Soundwave. PM me with how much for them. :)

I love how bigmak asked for guidance on how to sell and everyone is like "PM SENT!!!!"
    :lol

That's an attractive collection - hate to see them broken up. I would echo what others have said... anything in box or on card should be sold separately for maximum return. The KOs/bootlegs, and loose stuff like the MyClones will do better in lots, and will be less hassle for you to manage.

I'm not going to sell the pieces off one by one yet. I'll try to sell the collection atm to keep it whole. If that doesnt work i'll give the people here a go and do it one by one :)

If you ever sell that as one lot the buyer must have some pretty damn deep pockets, that or a money tree growing in his basement.

Layaway haha wtf, that would be cool.

Dont sell , keep! Pawn the vcr, sell the neighbors grills, stick a mugshot on some milk cartons (then make money off a country song talking about it) .
And re-organize. Maybe get them all glassed, Then SELL
If anyone is even that rich?
It would be make beautiful Botcon (etc) display piece for the droolies, get it some attention , then let the ultra high rollers fight for it in bids afterwards.

Since it's the largest cassette collection Ive ever seen. (10$ to anyone that can top it)
