This is a figure that I always wanted to try, ever since I saw Jin Saotome masterfully combine the perceptor mold with a wfc soundwave head I was enchanted, but it wasn't until I saw frog_dna do one in cartoon style that I fell in love with the concept, so I wanted to make one that drew inspiration from both of these masters, I got going with a lighter shade of blue than previous versions, I celshaded some areas of truck mode along with the windshields, and I did a subtle touch of cel shading on his cassette deck and shins for bot mode, his middle perceptor cannon was removed to fit his shoulder turret or even his blaster and last but not least, I also threw in a light up energon cube for fan service! Wow. That mold really suits Soundwave better than Perceptor. I mean, the shoulder cannon and the opening chest thing are more for Soundwave. The detailing too is jaw dropping, I love the painted windows! Fantastic job!
there is so much subtle detail to that its incredible, i ahd to look at some of them multiple times cause i thought it was just a shadow in the pic. do you do anything bad?
