    G1 Season 1: 1984
    G1 Season 2: 1985
    G1 Season 3: 1986
    G1 Season 4: 1987
    Beast Wars Season 1: 1996
    Beast Wars Season 2: 1997
    Beast Wars Season 3: 1998
    Beast Machines Season 1: 1999
    Beast Machines Season 2: 2000
    Robots in Disguise: 2001
    Armada: 2002
    Energon: 2004
    Cybertron: 2005
    Animated Season 1: 2008
    Animated Season 2: 2008
    Animated Season 3: 2009

These are just the main ones (none of that regurgitated G2 rubbish) and the original air dates and season timeslots may vary depending on country, network etc.

Besides those mentioned by Auto Morph:

    Headmasters 1987
    Super-God Masterforce 1988
    Victory 1989
    Zone 1990 (1 episode)

    Beast Wars II 1998
    Beast Wars Neo 1999

    Go-Bots 2003 (5 episodes)

Also note that the Japanese version of the old G1 show featured an additional 'stand in' episode for the Animated Movie called Scramble City.

It was not intended as a stand-in, and doesn't serve as one.

    Forgot, yes...

But srsly, it is interesting to chart the popularity of the brand just by looking at that timeline. I mean, G1 had virtually died a death by the time 'The Rebirth' was made, and then there was a 9 year wasteland with no new (English language) cartoon. For anyone who doubts that Beast Wars saved Transformers, just look at the slew of shows from 1996 onwards.

Then again, by the end of the Unicron trilogy we were in trouble again (terrible series IMO) when Animated returned after a 3 year gap to refresh things.

To me at least, the fact that Prime followed so hot on the heels of Animated shows that the brand is still in rude health. I really hope it does well and at the very least rides a while on the back of the hype of DotM. Although as far as I am concerned, it has enough quality to be a success in its own right. Hopefully it will make it to 3 seasons.

after seeing this list, it is clear that I have a lot of transformers to watch.

I've only ever seen G1, RID, & Prime.
Is there anyplace online that I can watch Animated?

No one has mentioned Car Robots in 2000, which was before R.I.D.

You might find the opening mini-series, Season 1 and 2 in some stores' discount bin or eBay.

Die-hard Animated fans are still waiting for Season 3 to come out on DVD :cry

    Glad I could help.

They don't exist in complete boxsets in region 2 (at least I don't think so).
Armada, Energon and Cybertron is released in single discs each containing only a handful of episodes.

R.I.D is split up in two boxes in region 2 though.
They have box 1 on Play Play.com - Buy Transformers - Robots In Disguise (Box 1 of 2) online at Play.com and read reviews. Free delivery to UK and Europe!
Doesn't seem to have box 2 though anymore. Maybe eBay.uk has it?

Youtube would be a good place if you don't want to pay for DVD's.
