    Aw man :(

I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that pretty much everyone of us grew up watching a Hanna Barbera cartoon. Shame to see the duo split up, they made some pretty wicked cartoon.

I'm going on youtube.com right now to watch some Tom and Jerry in honor of him

I respect what he did and I don’t mean to sound like I’m slaging off on the guy but the only Hanna Barbera cartoon I ever really liked was Top Cat with Tom & Jerry being one of my lest favorite cartoon ever.

When I think on the whole body of H&Bs work, it amazes me just how much of my childhood was in their hands.

I think we should honor him by copying this thread and recycling it a few hundred times.

RIP Joe. Damn, right before Christmas too. Wonder if Boomerang will have a H. B. marathon.

Yeah, I can't stand Tom and Jerry. My sister used to watch them all the time. But I couldn't sit thru them.

It pretty much already is :lol

Every time I've watched Boomerang it seems all they show are H.B. cartoons from various decades. Although the odd time they show classic Popeye

Same here except I didn't like Top Cat either. It's the same deal with Chuck Jones.

Johnny Quest was always my favorite HB cartoon. You just can't get that kind of body count in a children's show, anymore.

Well that's a shame. At least he lived a long full life and made plenty of cartoons. Massive respect here.

It's tough when someone so amazing dies. It's like when Mel Blanc died. Definitely a sad thing.
