Another concept I was working on while doing some commissions, I wanted to see how well this style would do on a TF Prime Figure, to add more of a cartoon vibe I changed the head with an extra battle tanker one I had and gave him his iconic ion rifle from the mini MP prime. hope you guys like!

This can almost past for an IDW Optimus. Looks great. The mold is still a bit too curvy for my taste but your paint work is awesome.

 

I really love what you are doing with these. With that cartoon style. Great paint job and awesome work!

 

It looks good, but the head and body don't match up too well. The body is curvy and angular, but the head is too boxy...If that makes sense. But I love that shading!!!

 

I couldnt care less about Prime toys or designs, but hot damn that beautiful paint job!...really nice work mayn

I love the head and the paint work is smooth as always BUT I think some of the cell shading is a tad to dark and kinda makes it tiger stripish....IMO...non the less GREAT work!

 

As normal, the paint work is awesome........ but the cell shading is a bit overdone on this one IMHO. If you scaled it back a bit I think the effect would be more striking.

Thanks guys! I can see where you are coming from with the cel shading, I'm still trying to balance it out between not being too strong and not too subtle so I'll definitely keep on trying!

your cell shading is something to behold and while there is always room for improvement for everyone, its VERY hard for me to poke at it on this piece
