Whatever it is I'll watch it. But if its a movie cartoon or transtech (which, lets be honest, its not going to be) I won't buy the toys.

I'd like to see something brand new and completely original, with minimal links to familiar sources and lore.

Just some transforming robots, doing their own thing, and they're characters we've never seen before.

You mean being better than the movie it's based on?

Count me in as long as its not movie based. The toy line is completely wretched and half-assed. We are already getting over a years worth of movie based crap, so Hasbro continuing on with those haggard designs into a cartoon and a new toy line would be a total letdown. If there is no Animated Season 4, then a Universe style series would be pretty interesting.

movie based one could confuse the adults and maybe the kids though i could see them ending animated and starting something else from where animated ended kinda like aramda energon cybertron series

As long as it's not dubbed anime shit from Japan "starring kids and their transforming robot friends" I'll watch it.

As much as I love Animated, I'm gonna give whatever the next show is a fair chance with an open mind.

Unless the transformers don't show up until the last minute of the first episode, then I will personally hunt down the Hasbro headquarters and smack whoever thought that that's a good idea =]

I think they should go one of two ways with the new series (heres hoping they actually do another one):

    1. Go with a series that follows up where Animated left off with the same animation style

    2. Go with a series that takes place before/during the great wars on Cybertron. perhaps while prime is still Orion Pax. with a plot line that leads him to find the matrix.

whatever they do I hope it's awesome! I will definitely give it a chance.

I do agree with some fellow board members that prime and megs could use a timeout for some other main lead characters to take command or even have a new leader rise from the ranks.

either way I will be sad to see Animated go, it got me back into collecting the toys (that and universe 2.0).

If having another cartoon series means having more Animeformers, I'd rather have nothing but the movies.

I'm hoping for movie-based, with a huge cast and plenty of new bots.

I appreciate the way TFA has included characters from a variety of past series; I'd like to see more of that, movie-style.

I agree. A year from now, we might be nodding respectfully at the awesome show that was Animated, but excited about a new show that might be kicking some ass.

Animated surprised me with how good it was.

I'll wait to see what the next line\show is before I get upset.
The one thing I will say is that if it airs on Cartoon Network it had better be shown at a decent time, with decent promotion -and they better not change the time every two weeks.

You do realize that Cartoon Network's been screwing with Transformers since Armada, right? Airings at the crack of dawn, little to no promotion...that's CN for ya. I don't want another Transformers show to be on Cartoon Network.

    Oh yeah -I realize that.
Not only would they put it on at 5 AM -then 5:30, then 6 AM -then 5, but they would show episodes 1 through 14 over and over and over, then they get 3 new episodes and even though they were currently showing episode 9, the next airing would be 15, 16, 17.
Then they would show 1 through 17 for weeks until 18,19 and 20 came out.

    It was just stupid.

I'm in the "NO ANIME" camp. That's not even negotiable. I also can't watch if they decide to use that cell shaded 3D garbage like Iron Man and the previous Spider-Man show. Unfortunately, that would make the most sense if they want to connect it to the films.
