    My dad and I play it, and how hard would it be to run a Transformers RPG using it a a base?

    Also, is it a good RPG system for Urban adventuring?

    Urban Adventuring is best played using the "GO OUTSIDE" system. Failing that, I dunno, d20's pretty versatile, though d20 modern was surprisingly clumsy.

    I am using Car Wars as the base. Very good rules, and aside from maps, I got everything I need to play.

    Maybe pick up a copy of Mechamorphosis (another D20 based system) and try and mesh the two?

    Thanks for the tips. I'll also attempt to reverse-engineer GURPS Mecha to be usable with Car Wars.

    The Robotech RIFTS/GURPS books might also be helpful, if they're any different from GURPS mecha.

    My friend plays Car Wars and I once asked him if TFs could be used in it. The problem I was told would be with the turn system since as I understand it one turn equals one second of time and it would be hard to work transforming into that system. Funny side story, I actually gave him my RID spychangers to use for playing Car Wars.

    As for an RPG, I tried to put one together using the tech specs as a base. It actually worked pretty good until we had to factor in human weapons against Cybertronian armor.
