I'm sorry but I just don't get Captain America. He is much like Batman and Spider-Man. One bullet to the head and they would be dead.

Better not clash with TF4 release date!

And that is what makes them more human? Seriously, I never liked the concept of Superman, the guy is invincible. :S But folks like Batman or Spidey, while having super powers, they are still vulnerable and that makes them stronger. (?) Because they are just regular folks. ^^

They're more to them than being able to be killed by a simple gunshot.

I don't get how that really interferes with whether or not you 'get' him. If you don't really like him, that's cool. :)  I understand that he's not everyone's favourite, nor should he be. But the ability to get killed by a single bullet to the head? The Joker, Bruce Banner, Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, multiple characters in the Watchmen franchise, The Penguin, Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Nick Fury, Bane, Tony Stark, Dr. Octopus, Johnny Storm, Catwoman, Susan Storm/The Invisible Woman, The Punisher, Daredevil, Elektra could all be killed by a bullet to the head as well. But a lot of people still 'get' them. Now, yes, every one of those characters could have some way of defending themselves against a bullet to the head. Duh, they're super heroes/villains. Xavier can control minds, The Punisher has loads of weapons at his own disposal, Daredevil's super senses and so on. But so can Captain America. And Batman. And Spider-Man. But since defending themselves against a bullet to the head was not specified, I'm merely going on whether or not a successful kill-shot bullet to their head would kill them, to which dozens of "superheroes" (or villains) could be killed in such a way.

^Great point. Even Tony Stark could be killed by a bullet to the head if he isn't wearing his armor. Going outside the MCU, most protagonists can be killed by a bullet to the head like Indiana Jones (yes he survived a nuke, but you get the point) or James Bond.

Yeah who said being able to be killed by a bullet is lame for a superhero? The hero being invincible makes it uninteresting.

Exactly, if anything it makes them a better hero storywise because they're putting their lives at risk for the good of others. I like Superman and I'm sure he would try to help as much as possible if he didn't have powers, but we rarely ever have to be concerned about him getting hurt. It's much easier to do good with powers and it's even better when someone does it as a normal everyday person.

Well Steven Speilberg is directing his bio-pic....it makes sense that it'll be praised.
