I was referring to this Cap, the Chris Evans pic one. Looks good for a 4 incher (3 3/4''?) Are Hasbro doing any 6'' like the Walmart only 6'' IM2 figs? Cuz I might pick up one of those, I've decided to stop collecting 3 3/4'' inchers entirely.

I seem to recall reading on another site the official release date is May 16th.

 

i'm counting the days, since they look more promising than the hard to find GL crap. Patriots of the World Unite - kastorskorner.com has a review of the K-Mart 3-pack, which made me stoked thinking they were already out, but they stated that they will be out in about 2 weeks, and it was JUST put online May 3rd.

 

That Cap appears to be 6".

 

I'm not sure what the street date is, but I stopped into Target last night and entered the DPCI # for these guys and it came up as in stock in the back. A friendly worker pulled the case from the back and brought it to me. I bought the Battle Field comic version of Captain America. This was really the only figure I wanted from wave 1. For those who are looking foward to the new Winter Soldier, I looked at all 3 from the case and all of them had really bad facial paint apps. It's looks like he has a really bad spray on tan.

I also didn't notice a, "Do not open before this date" written on the case, so maybe it won't be to hard to get workers to pull a case from the back for those wanting these early. Here's the DPCI # 087 06 2273

 

I hope they have a comic series.

 

I know this has been retitled the Captain America toy thread, but I noticed today there's a variant Odin toy with a gold eyepatch, more gray hair and a completely different deco for his armor. This has probably been noticed before, but thought I'd share. Not sure which one I want since I prefer the darker hair but want a silver eyepatch.

 

I'll probably just go with the marvel select figure. To go with my 6" Walmart IM2 War Machine & Mark VI. Here is a pic:

wow that's a nice figure. too bad the 3 3/4" figure doesn't look like that.

 

Wow. That's pretty damned great. If the poseability is better than the IM2 figures, I just may pick one of those up.

i had the K-MArt 3-pack in my basket today, got to check-out, and got DENIED! ARGH! they could have at least HELD it for me! that is just evil to make me think i was going to get the 3-pack, and get denied like that.
