I finally found a Destroyer yesterday! Got him at Rite Aid for $11 & change. I always drive by this specific store on the way home from work and check it for toys, but lately I had not checked it in the past few weeks. Instead, I was cheacking all the other Rite Aids and coming up empty handed. I thought to myself "Meh, they'll probably have nothing good", but I went inside to check anyway. Lo and behold there lay the great Destroyer on the front peg the moment I walked into the toy aisle! I almost didn't notice it at first, glossing over it to see Star Wars, Ben 10, and Spiderman figures. Silly me! Oddly enough, it was the only movie Thor toy they had for sale. Needless to say, I left the store as one happy customer! My next step is to buy a movie Thor for my Destroyer. Which figure(s) would you guys recommend?
Assuming that's a 3.75" Destroyer, I'd sugggest Sword Spike Thor. Ditch the sword and he looks pretty good, full armor plus cape. The cap also helps him stand up, which is good since there's no regular stand.
I didn't realize there was a variant of the Hydra Trooper until I found it in store today. I really wanted the non-variant, but I'm happy with the green one for now. Gonna try and find a few of the normal ones to troop build a little.
I had no idea this guy was already out, I want one so bad Captain America First Avenger 6-Inch Movie Captain America Wal-Mart Exclusive - YouTube
Anyone have the "justice jet"? opinions or a review on it? I'd be tempted to make some sort of Racecraft/fighter from it eventually, maybe find a better pilot figure if I got it. The pack in figure's not of interest to me.
if I wanted to have some Wolrd war 2 American Gi's as 3.75" Action Figures to complement the Captain America ones who would suit what line. and what about some 3.75" Germans ? the options seem a little limited. I'd welcome some ideas though.
Is the Walmart exclusive 6" Captain America out yet? What about the 6" Thor action figure? Been looking for those two to go with the 6" Iron Man.
