Looks like Monster Hunterish but with an open-world and storyline.
Capcom Announces Dragon
It looks cool to me.
Kinda the logical evolution of Monster Hunter.
And my love\hate relationship with Capcom continues.
I'm looking at this with an interested eye.
I know. All the info and the video gives me blue balls. I hope it doesn't disappoint, because the promise sounds huge. Shitload of NPC characters and a multiplayer that might rival Monster Hunter.
Sounds exactly how I felt about Marvel Vs Capcom 3.
And, man, did that one disappoint.
I'm really interested to see how the multiplayer pans out in this.
If you can't have other human players on your team, then what exactly is the multiplayer?
Not sure because they didn't elaborate on it. They did say it will be something interesting. I assume that the game would ditch the NPCs in favor of human controlled characters. I love the open world aspect of it, and that it's geared more towards the Dungeons and Dragon's nerd.
I did, too.
But not according to the Kotakus.
And it looks like it's loving you right back.
This game is an unexpected surprise.
I hope it's mostly what I think it will be.
Bloody hell, that's what I was hoping for. I'm still interested, but I really was hoping for a different type of co-op game.
Don't want to get excited about this game, but shit it looks great:
Dragon's Dogma Captivate 2011 Interview: Kobayashi and Itsuno (PlayStation 3) - GameSpot Video
I like all the burninating going on in the Kotaku vid of it.
As long as I don't have to order about my AI companions too much, I think this looks like a sheet cake of win.
It’s hard not to get excited after watching that video.
Climbing onto the giant monsters is EPIC!
Capcom has quietly built the MT Framework into quite the graphical powerhouse.
I’m surprised they have never licensed it out.
The dogma ties beast and the one bearing the mark together in fate.
after watching game of thrones i want to cut off horses heads and ride dragons.
Reading the second book to that now.
Is this Online co-op? it would be epic
There is some online component to the game, but so far Capcom is being quiet on the details.
They have, however, said it's not a co-op mode.
That's still and stupid, but I still want this game.
Also. Welcome back, Smasher.
Good to be back.
Demo is out and from the description, the character you make and work on in the demo can be imported into the full game. I love when they do this.
