I'm a pretty big Street Fighter fan so I will definitely have to add that piece to my collection. I dig the idea of a classic oversized NES game sleeve, but it makes no sense for a Street Fighter book (Mega Man sure, but not SF).

I'll definatly be looking at the Street Fighter book. Eternal Challenge was great for art, but the text was mostly fluff and quite obviously lacked proofreading.

The only reason to use the NES sleeve for the Street Fighter book is if they count Street Fighter 2010. I thought the first Street Fighter was on the NES but I was wrong. Speaking of the first Street Fighter Capcom needs to put it back out in some form.

The first game was an arcade game. It's funny, a lot of people never knew there was a first game. I remember when SF2 first hit arcades and consoles and thinking, "What happened to SF1?" But I did play it at an arcade, and it sucks out loud. You only get to play as Ken and Ryu.

Interesting -and worth looking out for.
Udon is cooking up a book of Capcom Art as well.

I am a sucker for this kind of stuff.
Capcom has the best character designs.

I picked up Eternal Challenge and thought it was, for the most part, fantastic. However, the articles and history only covered the games within the main Street Fighter "canon" (SF1, SFA, SFII, SFIII). Games like SF EX, SF2010, the VS series, Final Fight, Rival Schools and Saturday Night Slamsters all got relagated to either brief mentions or not even mentioned at all.

They also seemed unaware that Mike from SF1 is the same character as Balrog from SFII. A minor thing, I know, but any well-versed Street Fighter fan writing that book wouldn't have made such a mistake.

I'd definately double-dip if it meant a more comprehensive book containing info and art on EVERY single Street Fighter game produced.

I'll definitely check the megaman one out. Let's hope they don't shrink-wrap them, I'd like to flip through them in the store.
