    I'm debating with myself on if I should buy a G1 Thunderwing. I've gotten an offer for a complete one with a worn box. There's some yellowing on his guns and chest, though. He want's 140$ for the figure. What do you guys think? Should I go for it? Or should I wait for a possibly better deal to come up? Or, I'm also buying a small lot from the guy that looks like this (that values exactly the same);

    Action Master Rad.
    Apeface.
    Blackout & Spaceshot + Anti-Aircraft Base.
    Bomb-Burst.
Carnivac missing shoulder pads and gun.
    Eject.
    Longtooth missing robot hand gun.
    Repugnus.

All of them complete except for Carnivac and Longtooth. Should I skip this lot and take Thunderwing instead? What do you guys think? I'm used to spending a lot of cash on G1's, but not this much at the same time. That's the current obstacle for me.

I don't understand why you're having trouble deciding between a set of figures or just one.

Which one is worth more to ya?
I'd probably go for the lot, just because I dont have any personal attachment to Thunderwing.

but if you can afford it, and you wont go hungry next moth because of it. get both.

Buy the lot and get yourself a deluxe Thunderwing. There now you have both. :D

From those two options I'd go with Thunderwing. Quality over quantity my friend ;)

Normally I would go with the lot (as long as they are in pristine condition), but if it was a specific figure that I needed or had an attachment to, I would pay whatever the price (within reason)...

I personally would never spend that much on a single figure especially since it's getting a new update anyway.

    I'd go with the lot...

Get the lot and then sell me Apeface!

Or, you know, do whatever. Thunderwing's value is vastly inflated by his awesome fictional portrayal...

I'm a big Thunderwing fan and own his G1 toy, which is pretty dope. But I think the chance to own a complete Apeface and a complete Blackout/Spaceshot set is too good to pass up. Take the other lot and wait for Generations Thunderwing.

Get the lot definitely, then Generations Thunderwing as others advised.

Comes down to condition. Most lots I see are in lots because they are trying to move out stuff with play wear.

Nah! I assembled the lot, he had all of them for sale separately.

Will go for the lot, thanks for all the input!

I got a complete Thunderwing for £60 (~$90). Go for the lot.

I had Thunderwing back in the day. Let me tell you, the best thing about him is his depiction in the comics. The toy wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Not BAD, but the Generations version will probably be more true to the character.

Get the lot and then for the love of god sell me that Longtooth. I'd pay like $100 for that alone!

    This. ;)

    IMHO:

You can have 1 lot of incomplete/junk figures but that wouldn't even make up for that 1 special figure.
