It's been weeks since I posted my last custom Warpath here. Anyhow, I had a deluxe Bumble Bee laying around, so I picked it up and decided that I should custom this dude. Nothing too hardcore with this custom toy, just threw in a sculptured Cliff Jumper head and layed several coats of Testors Acryl on this baby, and whalahh! I would say this is my version of the Allspark Cliff Jumper. Enjoy!

I used layer of different shades of red and metalics (Testors). As for the head It was sculptured by me using Apoxie sculpt. Thanks for the cudos! Oh yeah I must be doing sothing wrong here, it seems that my photos are showing up as a link. I actually wanted to show the photos itself. Hmm??

That is a great color and well sculpted head but why the marker lines?

wow. that's really nice. I am loving the alt paint job. was it airbrushed? I'm shocked it was done with acrylics, really looks like an enamel paint job to me.

You need to start applying your talent to figures larger than deluxes. I've found if you're trying to get something for TFs on ebay, most buyers aren't interested in smaller ones, but more-so the big mommas.

Also, you have the same pic twice. and to add photos directly into the thread, there's an instructional around here somewhere.

Wow... that's a SEXY colour! Such a smooth clean colour application!

Is the head completely molded from scratch, or is it modified from the existing head? It looks a bit like it was.

    Awesome bash!

I have one suggestion... as an option part, I think that Cliffjumper needs a long barrel attachment for that gun. :)

Especially the way you have him cradling it like a heavy piece of equipment. It needs a nice long barrel extension, maybe with a bipod even! It would be a nice nod to the famous episode when Cliffjumper pulls that huge cannon from nowhere.

Wow, not sure how I missed this thread yesterday but this is excellent. I love the red paint. I think I like the head too, it doesn't clash with the busy body with all the sculpting done to the helmet. Kudos!

Wow kitbashing is definitely one of your talents. I'd pay more than 10 bucks for this if Hasbro made one like it for mass retail. Love the paint job and the awesome head sculpt!

Hey what's up man! It's the guy with the cool Ultra Magnus! Anyways, I did airbrush Cliff with acrylic since enamel take a little long to fully cure. There's a difference between dryed paint and cured paint.

As for larger figs, I do have some done, I just can't let them go yet. I'm thinking of keeping them for myself. But yes I should definitely post them here soon.

    Thanks for the complement!:thumb

Hopefuly Hasbro see's this, I'm sure their toy engineers somewhat get their Ideas from forums such as TFW2005, but I don't think Hasbro would spend that much money to reproduce this type of CJ. They would most likely have to charge more for the fig if they did tho.

    Thanks for the complement!

Yes the head was really made from scratch.

Great suggestion with the gun. The thing was I didn't have much time to custom the gun, I don't know man, I should really start sculpturing weapons for these guys. But great Idea tho, altho I can't recall that particular episode you were talking about, sorry:banghead:

So for the paint application was that with a brush or did you spray paint it? Great job by the way with the custom paint and the sculpted head.

    I

OK, when I orginally posed this all the other replies were hidden for some reason. Thanks for sharing the details of it's creation.
