    Hey guys

Im watching an auction from Canada for a junker lot:

As you can see there´s alot of things there, and apparently weights about 21 pounds

Now the problem is the shipping, the seller replied a question with Canada Post rates:

I tried to calculate the shipping with a random Canadian zip code to my country and the prices were pretty much similar

Now my main question, are there any cheaper shipping options available? maybe with tracking?

    Thanks in advance guys!

$95 for the cheapest option? That's nuts. Probably gotta fly it over the U.S. though, instead of going through.

You might think that, but you'd be wrong. It's more. I went to the UPS website. Came up with (in CAD).

    $285.60 for UPS worldwide express
    $277.38 for UPS express saver
    $253.29 for UPS worldwide expidited

And don't forget UPS will always charge you a brokerage fee.

No it's surface. Says so in the name of the service.

    To the original poster:

International Air and Surface both have tracking; the problem is no insurance is offered to some countries. I know for a fact Mexico is one of those countries since I tried to ship there two weeks ago (to Cuautitlan Izcalli); I had to use Priority Courier at a cost of ~$160CDN.

People who never even shipped anything using Canada Post need not be bashing it; they are always the cheapest option to ship out of the country.
