So I ended up seeing the movie again today with some friends, and lo and behold I spotted Jolt in a place I didnt last time So total - Car mode on the road before the forest battle - Robot mode, many shots of him, at the Military base after the Decepticons arrive to earth - Car mode along with other autobots after they have been rounded up (with the black net over them) - Robot mode shooting during the final fight (didnt notice this last time) - And his spotlight, when Attaching Prime to Jetfire So has anyone spotted him anywhere else? Its like Wheres Waldo!
He was in Car mode in the NEST base with all the other Autobots right after Shanghai in the hangar. And where the fuck did you spot him in the final battle? I've seen it twice and couldn't seem to spot him.
Ok, sometime during the battle, there is a shot of Sideswipe, in the background to the right of the screen. you can see Jolt shooting stuff up This is before he attaches Jetfire to Optimus
Also, I dont remember seeing him in the NEST garage. Will have to look out for that next time. Im really wonder if he isnt with the other autobots when they come to Primes rescue. Its possible hes tucked away in a corner and no one has noticed him yet...
Despite seeing the film twice, my head's still kinda cloudy. In the highway scene with the Autobots speeding towards the forest to help Prime, I think we see the Autobots driving towards the camera, then a close-up shot of Jolt and then back to the group. In the two group shots of the Autobot cars, was Jolt missing? Or was he off to the side or something?
I wasn't on the lookout for him, and amidst all the action, the only time I noticed him was for like 3 seconds at the military base.
The sad thing is I saw this movie with 20 people and I am the only Transfomer fan, and I was the only one who knew it was Jolt attatching Prime and Jetfire. Every single one of them thought that was Sideswipe!! I am going to see it again monday I am going to look for him some of those you mentioned I didn't see before. Congrats Jolt you are the Plo Koon of Transformers
HE SHOOTS?! AWESOME! I'm going to try to see it sometime next week, and I will definitely be on the lookout for this scene.
Jolt & S'swipe should've gotten more screentime. How? It should HAVE been them both guarding Sam et al with B'bee instead of the Twins. I aint hate the twins but they served no purpose whatsoever in the Bot storyline.
Wait, Jolt was in? I don't even remember seeing the guy! ANd if I hadn't seen Ratchet in the first film, I doubt I would spot him this time as well.
Absolutely. Or Arcee, Arcee and Arcee could have gone with Sam and Bumblebee (though I kind of understand why they weren't used travelling around so much due to the constant need for a holo-rider), with Ironhide, Ratchet, Sideswipe and Jolt just having a bit more to do in between the battles.
I don't get how Mr. Orci said that they had to convince Bay of the importance of Jolt in the movie...because he definitely wasn't important. The only useful thing I've seen him do was help Ratchet with upgrading Prime..but if Jolt didn't exist they could have just shown Ratchet doing it alone..
