Same as before. Or you can hold Start or Select, then press the DS icon on the home menu before starting the game, and it will resize the DS game to the 3DS screen size.

It's pretty good. you can run the games in their native resolution to get rid of any issues withem being blurry that you'll see people complaining about. In fact, I was until I decided to boot up Okamiden to test what "the default" was. As it turns out I had it on the default. :lol  Okamiden looks even better while not slightly blurry! Of course, you can keep it in the enlarged size if you wish. The games still look fine. The slight blurry-ness is mostly noticable on sprite based games which I play a lot of.

I like playing games like Okamiden, Solatorobo, Mario Kart, and Animal Crossing on my 3DS since my hands don't cramp up like when I play them on my DSLite. The slide pad works just like the d-pad on a technical level but it just feels a lot better to me. But keep in mind that I have small hands, even for a woman.
