So I was watching the trailer of Wrath of the Titans and I noticed a lot of things seem to be in 3D, it look very nice. So is it possible it can beat DOTM at 3D. What do
    you think

Wrong. Shot in 3D. And from what I've seen, Wrath of the Titans should have some amazing 3D.

Clash was so crappy of a letdown, Ima gonna need some serious encouragement to go see Wrath.

Agreed, I mean a huge big-ass monster goes down to a guy with a flying horse in less than 5 minutes.

I don't think the 3d effects can beat DOTMs. The first movie wasn't that good, but the next one can be better, since it's another director in place, lets hope the movie can follow the tension like in the trailer and worth watching.

I bet the 3D will beat the rushed post-conversion of Clash.

I can't be objective, because I loved DOTM with all it's 3D accomplishments, but I'm guessing, "Wrath" won't be better than DOTM in that department. Some people like things poking out at you (I'm not opposed to it either, as long as it isn't too campy), and in my estimation Wrath will do more of that than Dotm has. It's a hunch.

The only time something came out of the screen during DOTM (debree excluded) were Jerry Wang's pistoles.

Why are you guys talking about seeing this movie? The first one was horrid. Why do people see bad sequels to bad movies? You're wasting money and encouraging Hollywood to make expensive, poorly-acted crap. Trying the same thing several times expecting different results is the very definition of mental illness.

It's the same human dialtone in the lead role. Watching Sam Worthington trying to puzzle out which subtly-nuanced derpface and muscle-flex goes with which line is like watching my cat try to walk with a sock tied around it.

Not the whole movie is shot in 3D. There's a post conversion too. :)

Some people are just gluttons for punishment. That tasty tasty punishment... :p

Look at me: I came back after each BayFormers movie. People hope for better the next time. Or they just want to see the new pretty pictures.

It's highly unlikely that Wrath of the Titans can beat Dark of the Moon on the 3D front. While Bay might not have been crazy about 3D at first he is a camera nerd so any other director would have a hard time getting more out of the 3D camera. Plus ILM was on their third Transformers movie which should also give Dark of the Moon the edge.

At least the 3D should be better than the first movie since the first one was a rushed conversion to 3D.

Really can't see me doing more than renting Wrath of the Titans one weekend to laugh at how bad it is. Going to be hard though to top the humor of "Release the Kraken".

But you understand that the majority was filmed in 3D right?

Are we talking visuals or box office? If it's the latter, I don't think it'll happen. Not for an action adventure flick released in the Spring, anyways. But I wish it the best of luck because it looks like a lot of fun. I love the original Clash of the Titans, but the remake was horrid. I like the change in director and what I've seen in the trailers so far for Wrath. Sam Worthington not having a Marine haircut helps things too.

Have you watched HUGO, Josh? I think the 3D in that movie was better than DOTM.

CAN it? Sure, it's a newer film, meaning it has access to slightly better technology.

WILL it, is the real question, and that depends on the staff involved.
