I check the sightings forum everyday, and there hasn't been any sightings of Conecpt camaro Bumblebee at Times Square TRU. So anyway my mom happend to be by there today and checked. I had written it down for her "deluxe concept camaro Bumblebee" and she called me just a while ago and said she asked the man and he said they had gotten 2,000 of them in stock and sold out immediately. Can that even be possible!? I mean between all the people that go to Times Square TRU like almost daily from the sightings forum, wouldn't at least one of them have seen a Bumblebee? Could the guy have been mistaken? I know Times Square TRU gets some stuff in by the crapload, lol I remember there were about 500 Darth Taters at one point. But 2,000 bumblebees at once? and they are all already gone?

When the G1 reissues first came out they sold out immediately at TRU Times Square. I used to go there at least two to three times a week and I never saw them in stock until demand leveled off. There are a lot of collectors in the area, many of which aren't on the boards. With all of the traffic that goes into that store I'm not surprised Bumblebee sold out so quickly.

I would think the guy was exagerating. I could see a store getting in a large quantity since I've heard he is in a couple of the current waves but 2000 is a little extreme.

Well, I can't imagine 2000, maybe 1000, but still. It probably went to scalpers and ToyWit.

2000? No. 200? Probably not. 20? Possibly... but I still doubt it. They wouldn't have ordered that many cases - even the Times Square TRU can't handle that.

Probably not at many as 2000, but I wouldn't underestimate their ability to move units; and do so quickly. Everyone from locals to tourists goes to that store. The foot traffic is unbelievable.

Waitaminute, if there were 2000 BBs, shouldn't there a complimentary number of the others from the wave there?.. No?

I think we are on Transformers Movie Deluxe Assortment: Case .0005 , Assortment includes: 1 each of Decepticon Brawl, Barricade, Bumblebee (`08), Dreadwing, Arcee, Longarm, Autobot Jazz (redeco), & Payload.

so 1 BB '08 in each box, you should see lots other deluex around .

We're on wave 3, 4, or 5, depending on location... All have at least 1 '08 Bee per case... so where are the 1000 Arcee's, Dreadwings, Longarms, Payloads, Final Battle Jazz's, Dropkicks, and Recon Barricades?

(Protoforms are not being counted as wave 1 in my assessment)

And we wonder why there's a lack of stuff in the rest of the country... ITS IN TIMES SQUARE TRU!!!

It was definitely in stock but as far 2000? That's absolutely ridiculous. Its not like there are cases of just 08' BB. It possible that they sold out in one day because collectors drop by during their lunch breaks and some employees grap them before others get a chance. I went last Friday and picked Voyager Prime but BB was gone. I saw two payloads on the 1st floor. That's it for new deluxes.

TRU TS Sold 1000 units of Wii on release night, so 2000 BB at $10 a piece is not impossible

You're missing the factor here on how the Wiis are packaged and shipped as compared to the '08 BB. It's a completely different situation.
