^ I certainly think Ironhide could go toe-to-toe with Mehatron, and as previously stated if anyone but Optimus could take Megatron, it's Ironhide.
Ironhide would be able to hold his own for a moment, but once Megs was able to get his bearings, he would fuck Ironhide's shit up.
I think in TF1, no. In ROTF, he could probably put up a fight but would lose. In DOTM, Megatron wouldn't stand a chance. I'm uncertain if DOTM Megatron could fight any Autobot.
Ok, he could easily lose to Prime in his condition, but you're overreacting. DOTM Megs vs Ironhide would probably be an equal fight. But Megs would probably demolish most of the others in a 1 on 1 fight, including the individual Wreckers.
Ironhide could probably hold his own, but odds are Megatron would eventually wear him down and out no matter what version of Megatron it is. Hell, even when Megatron was delirious and brain-damaged in DOTM, he still managed to do a significant amount of damage to Sentinel Prime (of whom up until that point, was severely kicking Optimus Prime's ass.)
You may be right. I reconsidered what we saw and I've decided that he could probably beat most Autobot cars and possibly win against an individual wrecker. But as for Ironhide, he seems a bit faster and more durable than DOTM Megatron. I think Meg could put up a good fight but would lose in the end.
Perhaps, but it really makes you feel sorry for the poor guy. Once powerful Warlord, now a broken down freak infested with Scalpels.
I really think it would be harder for me to feel empathy for the Cons if they actually posed a threat.
I think that all of the Autobots in TF1 except Optimus had never taken on Megatron before so they might have been a little intimidated. Which is why Ironhide and Ratchet ran. But after they realize how tough he is he's not that big of a threat. In ROTF Ironhide and Megatron would have been an equal fight. Ironhide has his advantages and so does Megatron. Plus the Autobots were more concerned about The Fallen than Megatron. In the ROTF video game for PSP there's a level where Meagtron fights Ironhide (Player plays as Megatron) it's the second hardest Decepticon level in the game (First being Megatron vs. The Fallen). In DOTM Ironhide shoots Megatron with his Heavy Iron 2.0 Wheeljack gave him. And he is sent flying. In DOTM I think Ironhide had a very high chance to beating Megatron if he had the chance. Ironhide might even have given Sentinel a hard time if he wasn't shot through the back.
