    Nope, the only way to preregister is to print and fill out the form from the BotCon website.

    It would be too time consuming for the FP rep to do all the work for you

    Indeed. They should at least let people email the forms in. That way they wouldn't have 24 trillion people trying to call and confirm that their fax went through.

    I hope that in future they consider different payment options.
    First of all, not everyone has a fax machine.

    Secondly, many of us would be hesitant to go to staples/business depot and ask them to fax a document with our credit card info on it.

    I definitely hope that in future you'll be able to pre-reg by phone.
    This way they won't have a billion people calling re: confirmation of their registration.

    anyway, enough about that, I can't wait for the con.
    www.transformerscon.com (in toronto canada)!!

    and botcon!

    FP is quite archiac.

    The site is miserable. Seriously. I really hope someone that didn't really have much experience building websites did it. It is done in cold fusion, so that's probably the case.

    The whole member registering and botcon pre-regging is very bad, and just doesn't feel safe. Wierd errors show up too. Then the store is "okay" at best. The look of the botcon and collector's club site both look very outdated (drop down menu for nav? wtf?). Seriously - they need to drop $5-10k, and get someone to redesign all their sites and bring them up to standard. More automated, user-friendly process, and better looking sites.

    </rant>

    Sorry (well not really). I'm a software developer and web developer, and have done many sites like this, so it's kinda my personal knowledge area =P

    I agree, we're in the 21st century and they dont have a form you can fill out online for registration? WTF, everyone and there mom has that, would be a lot easier, but there are quite a few things I would change about there business operating procedures.
