This is my first time considering a major third party purchase. I am not promoting an ebay auction here but i have to use it so I can ask my questions and hopefully get them answered. I know nothing about the City Commander set except the reviews I've seen and how cool it appears nor do I know how to pick out KO's from the real thing. Anyway here is one that was on ebay. Is this what I'm looking for? Is it the real thing? Is this the one that will complete what I am hoping for with this set? Thanks in advance.

    Here is the description

City Commander Trailer + Weapon Add-On Set
    Fansproject - 2009 Reissued TFX-01 with TFX-03

This auction is for one new sealed TFX-01 City Commander Trailer with the TFX-03 Weapon Add-On Set from Fansproject. This is the real item from Fansproject and not the knock-off. This auction does not include the Ultra Magnus figure.

    The set comes with:

    - 1 City Commander Trailer (This 2009 reissued trailer is an updated mold that fits the add-on set better than the original mold.)

    - 1 Transforming Gun with 2 Modes (One mode is for Ultra Magnus without the armor on and one mode is for him with the armor on.)

    - 2 Missile Launchers with 4 Detachable Missiles

    - Interchangeable Face Plates (The additional faces give the armored Ultra Magnus an opened-mouth look or a face similar to Shadow Commander's face, but in Ultra Magnus's colors.)

    Here is the pic included

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

did a quick google search, and it seems most of the differences between the real deal and KO are on the figure themselves. The only box difference shown was a boldness difference in the text in japanese on the box.

If you buy the item, and it turns out to be a KO, you could alway file a dispute with ebay/paypal and you'd win, since its a knock off, and not the real deal, which the customer wins all the time.

Buy from TJ Duckett. You know it is original and it is $210 vs. $250. I think he still has 1 for sale.

Yeah you can get a better deal here. Like Allucard said TJ Rucket has one left I believe at $210. It's better then eBay prices.

Yeah TJ's would be the best deal for sure... Everynow and then one pops up on the boards b/s/t for $150 and goes in an instant but i think those bargains generally don't have the TFX-3 set.

I'm so sorry bro. I didn't even realize you had these. If you're the same TJ Duckett from spawn.com then i know you from there and i remember ages ago doing some dealing with ya and I know you're a good stand up guy. DAMN! I just wish i knew you had this. maybe some day i'll make it up to ya and get something else from ya that you may have that i might be looking for. Cheers bro.

haha, it's np man. I'm not bugged that you didn't buy it. It's a pretty good price, and I'm not hurting for money (thus the cheap price), so I'm sure it'll sell to someone on the lookout for a good deal soon.

And I was never at spawn.com, but I'm a good B/S/Ter on here, and am as straight up with possible with deals whether I'm buying or selling, and I''ve earned a lotta good feedback because of it.

People here in general are more than fine to deal with, but there's always one person every so often that has a public fuck up with a sale, and makes the trust level for everyone go down a bit.

It just amazes me how much these things have jumped in value.

I just saw freaking ROTF Bruticus alone being sold for $325! People lost their mind.

Which phase, the people lost their minds, or picking up ROTF figures. LOL.

Seriously, I am looking at my figures right now and being like, when the hell did this collection turn into a freaking gold mine here?

I feel lucky because I have officially lost interest in movie figures entirely. That may not last forever but as of now I sold all off them except cyberverse Powerglide and blackout and deluxe Roadbuster is all I have. My focus is now exclusively on classics, a few animated and the upcoming Prime figs.
