Hey, I was reading up on Future Finish and wanted to try it out; however, I already put some Testors dull cote on my custom. Is it safe to put Future Finish over the dull cote?

The paint is Testors enamel paint if that matters.

Thanks :)  and sorry if this has been asked elsewhere

If the enamel and Dullcote have both been given ample time to cure, then applying a coat of Future shouldn't be a problem. Future is pretty versatile and - in my experience -doesn't react negatively to a lot of things. If you want to test it out, apply the same enamel paint and Dullcote on a junker or a surface comprised of similar material(s), wait for them to properly cure, and apply the Future. That should tell you whether or not it'll work.
