    Thats not iTunes.

Because Itunes is really quite bad.

Sure, it works fine when it works, its a bit like AOL in that respect. But deviate one bit from the lowest common denominator user and the thing throws a fit and tries to murder my PC.

I checked on google, but loads of different programs come up, any in particular that people can recommend?

Essentially what I want it something that will allow me to treat the ipod as a USB drive/flashcard and simply use windows explorer to just copy stuff over.

I use Yamipod. I'm sure there are better programs, but Yamipod is simple and does what I need it to do.

I tried both yamipod and winamp but I dont think the work with iPod touch. They won't detect the iPod as portable.

I understand, itunes is awesome for a Mac but junk on windows. I tried yamipod it worked well enough for my friend. But since he just bought a Mac he is not using it anymore.
