I got a PSP about a month ago, and I love it. I have the 300 game and SW Battlefront 2. What other games should I get?

I'm not generally high on RPGs, unless they're action RPGs. I'm tempted to get Ultimate Alliance, but I don't know anything else about it.

Also, does anyone have the Ghost Rider or TMNT games? I'm kinda interested in those too.

You like Megaman? Megaman Powered Up and Megaman Maverick Hunter X are both fantastic games, and each remakes of MM1 and MMX1 respectively. MMPU has a stage creator with the ability to share your creations online, and X1 has a cool unlockable anime OAV. Both are pretty much as perfect as 2D action gets.

    Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.

It's one of the very few reasons I am strongly considering a purchase of the PSP Lite in the Fall.

Definitely MGSPO. Syphon Filter was pretty awesome too and is getting a sequel.

I'll second Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror. Simply the best action shooter for the PSP. Killzone: Liberation is a good one as well.

I agree with what other have said thus far - Metal Gear Portable Ops, Syphon Filter, Killzone and the Megaman series.

    Also consider these fine games:

    Burnout Dominator
    Burnout Revenge
    Chili Con Carnage
    Crush
    Daxter
    GTA series of games
    Loco Roco
    Lumines 1 & 2
    Metal Gear Acid 1 & 2
    Prince of Persia
    Pursuit Force
    Tekken Dark Resurrection
    Ultimate Ghosts & Goblins
    Wipeout Pure

Sadly, avoid the Transformers game like the plague. One of the worst games ever.
There is also Metal Gear Portable Ops Plus coming out next year and a ned 2D Castlvania game in the works.

Those who say that the PSP has no good games are wrong. It's an expensive, but fun handheld system.

Burnout Legends, Burnout Dominator, and Coded Arms.
But if you're gonna own a PSP, you have to have LUMINES, that's just all there is to it. Or heck, Lumines 2, its the same, but better =P

I liked Ace Combat skies of deception, and Sega collection is good for a retro fix.

hmmm... here are some of my choices:

    Metal Gear Solid: Portable OPS
    Ratchet and Clank
    MLB The Show
    Street Fighter Alpha 3
    Daxter
    MediEvil
    Grand Theft Auto (both)
    Crush
    Metal Slug Anthology

    Upcoming games you should consider:

    God of War
Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles (will also come with Symphony of the night)
    Silent Hill
    Final Fantasy Tactics

    AVOID.
There has never been a good PSP game based on a movie.

I feel confident in recommending Parappa the Rapper for the multiplayer and downloadable remixed stages, and Grand Theft Auto, because it is Grand Theft Auto.

The best thing you could do, though, is get an old copy of Lumines, downgrade to firmware 1.5, then install the latest custom firmware OE, so you can play all your old PS1 games.

This month and next month there will be a flood of good RPGs coming out. Tales of the World, Dungeons and Dragons Tactics (my personal favorite), Brave Story, and Dragoneer. I'm having trouble juggling them. And I might have to pick up the FF2 remake.

Tekken: Dark Resurrection is the entire reason I bought the PSP.

Lumines II keeps my wife up at night it's so addicting. And she hates games.

The classic collections for the PSP are really nice. And the updated Pac Man games are sort of fun in a weird nostalgia induced newness sort of way.

Oh yeah, especially the Sega Genesis collections. 2 Very good RPGs (PS2 and PS4) and two decent ones (Sword of Vermillion and PS3), as well as a flood of some other very good Genesis Classics.

Though honestly, what gives Sega, where is the second collection with Streets of Rage, Space Harrier, Beyond Oasis, Shining Force 1 and 2. We should not be denied.
