I keep thinking of the Venom symbiote bonding with RID Scourge for some crazy reason. Given that the Transformers are these days portrayed as organic beings (with working parts that can be removed, but still with an organic theme), is it possible that a symbiote can bond with a Transformer?

Doubtful. The mechanical aspects of a Cybertronian may prove inhospitable to a symbiote, not to mention the general view that Energon is dangerous to purely organic beings and the shifting nature of a Cybertronian itself would be hampered by an external symbiote.

In this case a symbiote wouldn't be able to merge with a cybertronian as its maybe Techno organic but is still metal and not a cellular life form. Although a maximal or predacon it may be able to merge with it's fleshy animal parts pending on the nature of which but even in that instance its still a stretch.

Why? Trills are designed to go from host to host, Transformer lifetimes preclude the possibility of ever getting a new one.

(Sorry, been watching too muc DS9 lately.)

Possibly only with partially organic Transformers from Beast Wars or Beast Machines.

You've created 100 threads since May 23rd? Damn, man! That's....a lot.

    But...on topic...

Hmmmm, that would be a strange thing.....the Venom symbiote bonding with, oh - I don't know, Menasor? That would be kinda cool and crazy!

You have a point. I suppose its feasable. The Decepticons did imbue themselves with spiderman's powers in the marvel comics.

    Fixed for more awesomeness.

Anyways.....yeah. I think it could work. It would be pretty painful for the symbiote because of all the transforming 'n' stuff.....but I could see it happening.:)

Not possible. Symbiotes feed on adrenaline. Transformers do not have adrenaline. Case closed.

I think dark energon is the equivilant of bonding with a symbiote, for the transformers. It makes them crazy, more powerful, and more agressive towards others.

Mulled over this, and you know what? I'm going to say that yes, yes they can. I can't think of any evidence to exclude mechanical life forms from bonding with a symbiote, and given that there's been a venom Transformer...
