    No. A CM's Legioss can't even hook up to a CM's Tlead/Beta properly.

I see. Thanks for responding. Do you have both a CM Legioss and a Toynami Beta? Have you tried it? Is it really that bad of a connection, worse than the CM Legioss to the CM Tlead?

I don't have the Toynami set, but I know others have tried it. The size is similar, but the two just weren't made to go together and the CM's Legioss/Alpha has no good way to attach to the Toynami Beta - likewise the Toynami Alpha/Legioss doesn't attach to the cradle that connect's the CM's Beta/Tlead. The colors don't match between the toys either. It's a noble idea, and it would nice if it worked because Toyami's Beta is good but their Alpha is terrible. I'm sure they could be customized to work together, but as far as taking them out of the box and linking them up - nope.

Check out this comparison review of the two:

It works!!! With that, I'd reccommend anyone who has a Dark CM Legioss (who isnt afraid of minor color shading differences) to get the Toynami Shadow Beta when it comes out. It really makes the Legioss better.

Exactly. I wish Aoshima put out a Shadow, then at least I'd have the hope of getting it on sale at hlj.com like I did this Tread.

No mods. In fighter mode, the CM legioss sat right into the cradle that is suppose to hold the Aoshima/ Toynami counterpart. In Robot, the alternative connector that is suppose to support at the crotch of the Aoshim/ Toynami version doesnt even touch the CM, only because the nose in the back fills out it's section in the bar and keep the toy in place.

it might work but I would think it would look strange since the CMs is 1/72 scale and the toynami is 1/55 scale.

If you see the pics they're actually a nice fit. Also the CM is a 1/48, its practically on the same scale as the Toynami 1/55 since the Aoshima's are 1/48 scale. Its the same size, and it fits very well.

You're right, the Toynami and CM's Alphas are pretty much the same scale/size. The Toynami Beta is quite a bit larger in size than the CM's one, though. In any case, your combination looks great and I'm glad it worked! :thumb :

The CM Upgrade Legioss and Tread I got is nice. Doesn't come apart in combined mode.

Just wish the missile launcher on the Tread and the forearm wings on the Legioss were better designed.
