I am asking some of you to tell me which sounds like a better camera to you or if you have one how good it is. I saw these affordable cameras at walmart the other day and was wondering if they would take to white BG shots so I could try to make it on photostaff. I am personally leaning towards the Nikon coolpix L100 black.

Although a similar camera would be the Fujifilm FinePix s1500fd.

They both have similar specs with the canon having more optical zoom.

Since they are so close I am asking you guys which camera is superior. Usually I think Nikon is a very nice camera but i want other opinions.

I'm no camera expert, but I think I'd lean towards the Nikon if it has the higher optical zoom. That'll reduce the graininess of your photos. The ratings for this camera seem rather lukewarm, though.

Any chance you can test these cameras out somehow before buying?
