A post I made in another thread got me wondering if I really am one of the oldest TF fans on these boards. Y'know, some of us were Transformers fans YEARS before a lot of you were even born.

Any TF fans here have a birthday prior to 7.17.1971 and willing to admit it?

Now, if you'll excuse me I need to go take my dose of Metamucil.

I'm 09-19-1978 so I'm in the old-timer group myself. Hell I'm old enough to remember watching Good Times and Jeffersons on TV.

And I'm pretty sure Backscatter's the oldest fan on this board at least :D

Whats the age range you're looking at? I'm probably more in the middle of the road myself at 26

Y'know I am happy we have this thread out in the open cause sometimes I thought about it and it made me realize that there are more board members from my age group then I initially thought.

Definitely not trying to win this. "TFW2005's Oldest Transformers Fan" is not a title I would be interested in.

Incidentally, my dad celebrates 65 years this July and he really enjoys the TF toys and the G1 cartoon. Although I doubt he'd call himself a "fan". For him, it's more "I wish they made toys like this when I was a kid."

But when dad was a kid all there was to play with was dirt and rocks. TV and motion pictures for him was looking at cave drawings while spinning in circles.
