Big Lou’s is scalper central. You won’t get a good deal there to save your life.

I don’t wish to smash bumpers with the other member in search of Studio Series #18 VW Bumblebee, but if anybody in the SGV has pointers on where to find it, I would greatly appreciate it :)

Just a heads up, I don't think Brickseek is accurate concerning Siege right now. The places that are confirmed to have things from the line do not show anything, both for the special individual code we expected them to have and for the generic code they seem to be using.

I haven't seen TFs there in ages, anyway. For a while they seemed to go full slot car racing for some reason.

If you're planning to be in the LA area around the second Sunday of the month, there is the big flea market/collectible show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. When I was collecting older toys heavily, I would hit it up every week, and you can find some interesting things, both old and new. There are other various flea markets around the city, some of which are good for older toys, or at least knockoffs. There are some stores in the Little Tokyo area of Downtown LA that carry Japanese TF as well.

Wouldn't that just mean they sold out? Usually if a new product just arrived and at best one case of a few size classes arrived and rabid fans came by to shop then they would be gone and it would be marked as 'out of stock'.

Well, Target in Walnut Creek doesn't have anything new, sadly. Oh well.

I find it unlikely that they would have sold out in an entire area. Realistically they reach neighboring stores ay roughly the same time, and I don't see every store selling out instantly without some keeping them in the back. They've not displayed that they have ever been in stock, so I have my suspicions about the accuracy of the system right now.

Brickseek is horrible. I spent a couple days in the last year hitting stores based on Brickseek info and ended up finding figures by hunting store by store. Brickseek is better for knowing if stores in your area got stock of a figure series but not for specific figures.

A multitude of things have taken me out of the running, so it's all up to you to win this thing

    1. I thought I lost a chance to buy something in Mexico, only to learn not too long ago there still just might be a chance. Best to save for item and shipping it with the loot out of country
    2. I hunted for SS #18 in Rosemead's Walmart and Target to no avail today, did not even see its wavemates
    3. Found a cutesy video review featuring a smol kid and Power Charge Bumblebee, so I sent my relative stationed in Taiwan that video. Hours later, I am tossed screenshots from their phone. They practically have a lock on MPM-7 at my command (held off for now as my priority is first trilogy/movie MPs and waiting for BB movie critical turnout). Didn't expect that
    4. Bought some non-Transformers related parts to support an artist I like who is headed for a long hiatus

    Hey SoCal!

Found these at Rosemead Target. They were the only Siege there, and they were not there last night.

Bought the three Battlemasters of Wave 1 at Capitol Target in San Jose. It seems Target is just stocking the Battlemasters for now. Can't wait till the Deluxes and Voyagers get put up.
