Let the bothering commence!
Would anyone recommend frank n sons for 3rd party purchases? Are they over priced and do they have much availability ?
They also now have the deluxes as of today (Cog, Skytread, Hound and Sideswipe with each being $22) As for the voyagers (Optimus, Megatron) they are $32 each. There looks to be a minimum of 4 hounds left and the other deluxes are around 6 each. The Megatron/Optimus look to be three left each. Also they have Optimus Primal for $50 (3 each) and a lone Wreck Gar for $30 and a lone Walmart exclusive Hot Rod that had no price on it
They are routinely overpriced
There would only be one place to really get your 3rd party stuff at Frank n Sons. That would be ToyArena.
They are not really overpriced for 3rd party stuff, but their markup comes with official Hasbro toys. I pretty much get my 3rd party stuff there for around the same as you can get online.
Sorry I'm just passing by doing some research seeing siege voyagers are starting to pop up. The siege figures that have been popping up mostly at comic shops and stores that are clients of Entertainment Earths wholesale Program. So if you have a shop that's goes through them and stocks Transformers I would check there.
As for these DCPI's. I don't think These are the DCPI's for the figure Assortments rather DCPI's of individual wave 1 figure's apparently being Firedrive, Race car patrol, Sideswipe, Optimus, And Ultra Magnus.
here are all of siege's DCPI's For the Individual Figures and can be cross referenced with Brickseek in Walmart's system as well. I have Not been able to track down the DCPI's for the Assortments yet.
DCPI's for siege
Race car patrol- 087-16-4277
Battle patrol- 087-16-4275
Airstrike patrol- 087-16-4276
Spy Patrol- 087-16-6084
Rescue Patrol- 087-16-4278
Off-road Patrol- 087-16-6211
Thanks for the update.
Just did a quick search on them. Their yelp reviews are all over the place. It's either 1* or 5*. Mostly poor return policy and not price matching their own website. I might still check it out but not expecting much. Have you purchased from them yourself
I have. The guys at the shop are actually really nice and helpful. Remember to do your price research and it should be no problem. Mostly, I get upgrade kits from them. Over the years, I have dealt with them over a dozen times. I have never purchased from them online.
I'll say the same for ToyArena. Stanley is really helpful and usually the guy you'll see on the daily. But yes do your research as they usually price match if you find something cheaper from another online retailer. As the gentleman above stated, prices at their booth are usually the same as online retailers
Anyone able to find the Siege Battlemasters at Target?
As far as I know, there's only been a sighting in Washington. I'm checking tomorrow. Anyone visit a Target today?
apparently for battle masters the DPCI is:
Hasbro – Target Inventory Checker – BrickSeek
Been checking. The guy who pulled one from Target in Washington got it from an area that appears to not have any in stock on brickseek. Not sure whether Brickseek is tripping or not.
Savers in Dublin has a bunch of mib Armada and Micron Legend toys in the front. Prices seem high but if anyone is looking...
Could use some help, been trying to track down a SS-18 Bumblebee in the Sacramento/Elk Grove areas but having crap luck. Anyone been to either a Walmart or Target in those areas recently that had some in stock? Thanks in advance.
That said, the Target in Midtown has a crap load of Cyberverse and Bumblebee Movie toys (Except SS-18) including a single power charged BB. They also have some older stuff such as a PotP Otimus, Rodimus, Hungarr and Elita-1.
I haven't seen it in a while, but I'll keep an eye out for you. No Siege items in SB/Ventura area yet.
Appreciated. Also forgot to mention that the Midtown Target still had a SS Jazz in case anyone was looking for one.
Is there a good place to buy transformers in LA? Just wondering. Gonna visit in a few weeks
There's the usual Targets and Walmarts, but if you want something more specialized, there's Frank and Son Collectibles Show out in City of Industry (south of Pasadena) which has several booths that sell them, and also Big Lou's Collectibles in Culver City which sometimes has secondhand TFs.
Yeah Gepard hit the major spots in LA. You could also try Jungle Toys in Little Tokyo though their selection is usually pretty limited, though they do deal in second hand TFs (I saw the Botcon G2 redux box set there). If you want to travel out further, there is Toy-Zilla in Alhambra but I've never been there before so I am unsure as to their selection. If you feel REALLY insane, Cape and Cowls in Fountain Valley (it's like an hour and a half to two hour drive from LA) has got TF stuff (he got in Siege figures on Friday).
Separate names with a comma.
