Yep, that was me. Our rent and landlord shenanigans (anyone remember when they tore out our entire parking lot for 3+ months...) overhead...and a lot of theft...was an absolute killer.

I miss the shop and definitely the customers. Having the shop was a blast...maybe someday I'll get to do it again, but with 2 kids to worry about ive got to have something stable...

It was always a fun time when Master Blaster used to organize the TF fan gatherings at the shop!

That’s a real bummer man. I was in there once a long time ago, but I’m never really in that area. I’m glad you’ve found something else and hopefully you can revisit it in the future!

 

Those were a ton of fun. Got to meet up and enjoy not just Transformers, but pretty much anything action figure-wise anyone wanted to offer. Dragonstorm was always a gracious host with his shop.

Hope everything else is good with you and the family, man! MasterBlaster too, pity not hearing from him for forever.

 

Yea those meet ups were great! Have not heard from MasterBlaster is some time.

 

Saw the wave 2 deluxes once at the Grossmont Walmart on Monday. Haven't seen anything else since.

 

Haven't seen any of the Wave 2 PotP deluxes, or Prime Masters up here in Sactown, and only a Tailgate for Legends at the Folsom Walmart. The Walmart nearest me in Orangevale sucks because all it has are a bunch of TR Deluxes, and the Citrus Heights store is clogged with those and some leftover PotP Wave 1. Haven't found anything new at Birdcage Target or TrU either.  

 

For kicks and giggles I stopped at the Walmart over near the Automall. They had an Octone on the discount rack (pfft, $24) and Blitzwing that looked like it was returned. Three TLK Grimlock (I think it was him, but not sure since I don't look for them) Prime and someone else mixed between the discount rack and shelf. They did have a PotP Starscream, some Shrapnel, Beachcomber, Slash and random other TR deluxes. Jazz, Swoop and Dreadwind to fill out the rest.

Has anyone seen a rodimus Unicronus in the East bay?

 

Yeah, MB, Xterry...there are a few that pretty much fell off the map   nowadays I'm a behaviorist / RBT working with special needs and at risk kiddos in schools and in-home settings. Which makes me the coolest teacher in class when I show up in an optimus prime shirt  

On topic I just missed the Hun Grr at Target Alameda but did score the Elita...NO other POTP figures there at all other then a few Starscreams

 

Got Battletrap pair and Tailgate at Target Tustin today. There should be quite a few of the former, not sure about the latter. Plenty of wave 1 prime masters, deluxes were Dreadwind and Slug, and they just restocked on Starscreams and maybe 1/2 Grimlocks.

 

Anyone find the wave 2 dinos? Really hoping to finish Volcanicus soon.

Had to go to SFO today and stopped by Target at Tanforan Mall found Elita and Hun grr. Those were the only wave 2 there.

You guys try stopping by your Walmarts. Many people not only found the Wave 2 Voyagers, but also the Dinos, Rippersnapper, Blackwing, and Moonracer. Unicronus is there too.

 

Had a friend of mine check our Walmart out and no Wave 2.

 

Stopped by, only Krok and Wave 1...

 

Oh, sorry to hear. But that's just where they are at the moment. I haven't seen them in person myself though. Nothing yet of the deluxes hitting Targets, I think .
