Even if they did just take the whole thing, wouldn't the alarms near the door trigger?
Honestly, I won't pretend to know the in-and outs of how the security/barcodes even work. I'm sure they would have a backup plan, but wires just sound like a preemptive measure stacked on top of another layer of security
I think it's just easier for collectors items to be at customer service so it wouldn't get stolen or easily found when customers call in to ask for them.
I called ahead, and picked up Prime from CS with no issue. I agree
What do you mean by "72 run of MPM-4"?
I only know how this works on Hasbro copies (dark grey plastic version with no blue feet bands & gold paint apps). So each figure is stamped with a production number on the blue part of his legs (the piece that tabs with the oil tank in vehicle mode). Members have noted that the production run of "71_ _ _" seems to have more flaws, and the run of "72_ _ _" seems to have fewer tabbing issues. All still share the reversed roof blue hinge pieces issue though, so if you're waiting for that to be corrected, might be best to hold out until we get news that a "73_ _ _" run exists. Without opening the box, you can ID which production number you are getting by looking on the back side of the packaging (with his Matrix/features listed) and looking for a stamped number near the bottom
Reversed blue roof hinge piece...?
Even Takara's has this mistake
Besides a pin punch, you can use other methods to remedy this
Doesn't sound like you're quite in the loop about what to expect with this figure. Might I recommend this thread as a good read?
