Basically wondering which of the two you use as your Classics-verse (C.H.U.G.) Blaster. And why? I had been quite happy with my Universe 2.0 Blaster with an upgrade by Renderform, thanks Venksta. :thumb  But, lately I've found myself wanting to grab the Device Label Blaster. And I'm not sure what I'll do with the Universe 2.0 version at that point. :(  So your input may help me with my dilemma. Thanks!

Not even a competition. DL Blaster is a better G1 representation. He has a better classics aesthetic, has a more Blaster-like head and can hold G1 tapes.

Universe Blaster is an ok toy but it doesn't remind me of Blaster at all.

I have no Blaster because what Has offered was, to me, a joke.
If I HAD to choose between the 2, I'd go with Device Label. Otherwise, I'll go without and wait until a Has offers a better Blaster.

Universe Blaster is a joke. I bought one and promptly had it repainted as Soundblaster/Logos Prime.

Universe Blaster is mere parts fodder for customisers. Lousy mold for Soundwave, lazy repaint for Blaster.
Device Label Blaster is a lot of fun, and a good scale against Music Label or Sonicron.

DL Blaster, easily... Great update to an alt-mode that's relevant in the modern world, while still retaining the iconic portions of his robot mode. And, as I noted in my review:

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-feedback/316579-device-label-blaster.html

Kind of cool, but then again I'm a bit of a geek. :lol

Device Label has its weaknesses but the Cybertron Soundwave mold is garbage. Plus DL actually, you know, looks like Blaster.

I was able to purchase Universe 2.0 Blaster at Wal*mart for $10. I had a spare Alternators Skids head (imagine that!) and some styrene, so I made a custom head to make him look less like Soundwave (plus I needed THAT head for another custom :lol ). I'm pretty happy with my "Blaster".

If money weren't an issue, I'd go with the DL Blaster, though.

Of the two, Device Label wins for me. I am not a fan of that cybertron mold to begin with, however.

That money issue might just be why I still have the Universe 2.0 version too. But, these urges for Device Label Blaster ar getting stronger.

I feel ya. It's also about current priorities, and there are other TFs and other TF related things that are higher on my list right now.

Is that a WST? I don't recall seeing that before. Pronbably leave it alt mode if I had it.
